Price - very affordable, budget friendly especially with the pool and food. However don’t expect too much for what you pay for. Overall we only paid 8,150 for the stay for 5 adults plus 4 children (food and other rentals not included)

Safety - my family’s 3D2N stay experience was so fun. However, I just have list of some issues on our stay. Emphasis on the stairs going up the bathroom as a big safety issue. we stayed in the glamping room for 6 pax. There is a step going to the toilet and its not a good design. Plus the tiles used inside the room is slippery. We have 4 kids with us, and we worry for them to slipped. Plot twist, it was one of the adults who slipped from going out of the toilet. Slipped not on a rug but on the tiles wearing the inside slippers provided bu the resort. First aid was provided but the resort does not have a ready on hand pain killer. We waited for hours before it was provided. The resort was big with a big amount of rooms to stay. Located at the bottom of the mountain, the terrain was not compromise giving an almost 5 story resort. Glamping room was located at 2nd level, while the reception is at 5th level. Calling for a first aid took time because the room has no telephone for easy reception access. There are also no roving guard or staff on room side to be called out for help anytime. on our second night, my sister was complaining of her difficulty breathing due to possible dust on her bedside. My other sister has been coughing since day 1. Both of them have asthma. Only on our 3rd day that we saw molds accumulated on the pillow of my sister who complained. All those hours we were just thinking that she’s being too sensitive but she was just being reasonable. Hope this improve. Please check all inventories and replace these items and the likes. I have issues with the design of the stairs in the pool. The stairs are not the usual. One or two steps are wider making it a a shallow part for kids to still be with the adults. The step can be a different color tile to provide a delineation on the depth. It’s not safe. (our 3days stay, 3days swimming, we still trip on these steps.)

Others Having a direct access from the beach and pool, i suggest for faucets outside the rooms or nearer to rooms for guests to wash up before going inside the room. Also the glamping room for 6 might be needing at least 4 seats on the balcony instead of just 2. Requests were easily provided like the rugs, blankets and pillow (with additional fee separate from additional pax fee). However, i dont know whose at fault at this, but we were provided fitted sheets instead of plain sheets as blankets (not only the additional but all blankets used were fitted sheets) The two way mirror of the door seems oriented the other way. From inside i see myself, while from outside i see the...

Extremely Disappointing Stay

We understand this is a small town and a budget hotel, so we managed our expectations. However, even as paying customers, the basics should be provided—and that includes a working sink.

We booked a deluxe room at Barbaza Coop Resort and the experience was unacceptable. The room was dirty, the bathroom had visible mold, and there was a strong foul odor. There wasn’t even a mirror above the sink. On our second night, on a different day, we were placed in Room B with no sink at all. One of the attendants even admitted they didn’t have anyone available to fix the sink that day. Why would they book a paying guest into a room without such a basic amenity?

The staff did offer a discount, but this issue should have been disclosed before check-in. Instead, we felt misled and uncomfortable, and we had no choice but to leave and find other accommodation at the last minute.

This was honestly one of the worst resort experiences we’ve ever had. Stay away from Barbaza Coop Resort. You’re better off...

Great overall experience!

Food is actually cheap given the serving size.

We stayed at their glamping rooms and you get a bunk bed (double size bed on the lower deck and a single bed on the upper deck) with a private CR for a cheap price! Plus it is air conditioned.

Also was able to view the deluxe rooms and price is very much reasonable for the amenities it include.

Plus all rooms have free breakfast as of this writing and wifi speed is great!

I highly recommend to stay here if you plan to go around different places in Antique due to the central location or stay inside the...

We chose to stay at the Coop Ocean View Resort because it was new and had all of the facilities we were looking for: 1) WiFi - we are digital nomads 2) large clean rooms with balcony and ocean view 3) quiet and efficient modern air conditioning 4) restaurant and breakfast 5) large well maintained pool 6) sandy beach frontage 7) close to 7 Eleven 8) excellent friendly and helpful staff 9) plumbing all works Mylen was lovely and made sure everything was done right for us. We were not disappointed. 5 stars.
