Food - average Service - zero Atmosphere - too homey
Food was okay. Although the serving size was huge, the taste of ribs was dependent on its sauce, which Iâm sure was just store-bought.
Service was extremely bad, as their staff were REALLY REALLY RUDE. The restaurant looks closed from the outside, so we asked the lady who was going out (whom we assumed is the owner/manager), and as I quote, âBukas yan.â And she pointed us to the 4 staffs inside and said, âEto oh.â The staffs inside were busy massaging their feet. We were the only customers that time, but no greeting was received from the 5 staff. One guy staff blasted some music while I was in a phone call, to which during our first 20 mins in the restaurant, there was no music at all. The food was served about 15-20 mins. While eating, I overheard the guy staff who rudely talked to someone who called to reserve a table. If thereâs 0-star rating for service, I would put it.
Surprisingly, payment is cash basis only despite having several e-wallet and card...
Read moreWe had a memorable dining experience at Johannaâs Grille in Bauan, where every dish felt like a warm hug from home. We ordered the Shrimp Rolls, Baby Back Ribs, Kalderetang Batangas (Baka), and Sinigang na Baboyâand each one was a hit. The flavors were rich, comforting, and distinctly homemade, just like how grandma would make it.
The Kalderetang Batangas stood out with its tender beef and bold, savory sauce, while the Sinigang had just the right tang to awaken the appetite. The Baby Back Ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the Shrimp Rolls made a perfect starterâcrispy, flavorful, and satisfying.
For the quality of food, the pricing is just rightâgreat value for money.
The only minor drawbacks are the slightly dim interior lighting and limited parking, as only street parking is available. But once the food arrives, youâll forget all about it.
Definitely worth a visit if youâre in the area and craving authentic, homemade Filipino...
Read moreThe food was very good, they serve foods which are not limited to chicken barbecue, callos, adobo, their famous baby back ribs, and more. They also serve appetizers such as nachos and fries. For my dining experience, I ordered fried and baby back ribs. Let's start with the fries, the fries were not that salty, and the fries were served hot; it also came with a dip. The nachos were also crispy and had a lot of toppings on them. The baby back ribs was very tender and falls off the bone. It was very flavorful and they were generous with the sauce that they put above the ribs. The prices are on the higher end, but the quality of the food makes it all worth it. (Unfortunately I failed to take a picture of the fries and nachos) Although the food was 5 stars, it took quite a while to arrive and the restaurant was not that packed. Still a great experience...
