We live nearby so we've given this restaurant so many chances because we really wanted a good restaurant that's just walking distance. When they first opened, the food was actually decent. But after a few months, their service was just terrible. They had a manager who was in charge of the front of the house who was very very rude and managed orders poorly. Our food came after 40mins, while the sushi rolls came after we finished our entree. When I called a member of staff about our food taking so long, they literally walked away from me while I was mid sentence. I felt like crying because it was so rare for my husband and I to have date nights and they ruined it by being unnecessarily rude to us. What's worse is that the food at that time was TERRIBLE especially for the price they charge you for. The rice on the bento meal i ordered was cold and the pork katsu was overcooked and tough to chew. We vowed never to go there again after that HORRIBLE experience in 2023.
