Starbucks Caltex SLEX Mamplasan Drive-Thru (Southbound) — Restaurant in Biñan

We felt humiliated and embarrassed by the staff of this Starbucks branch. It was our first time experiencing being mistaken for thieves by having our bags inspected before we left. We have no problem with bag inspection, but we were the only ones treated that way, and as far as I know, it’s not in their protocol or policy to check customers’ bags before leaving.

We asked the guard why, or if it was a new policy, because we were shocked by their actions. The guard couldn’t answer and couldn’t respond to my simple question. We thought maybe it was because my brother checked out some coffee bean packs at our table, as he was planning to buy them — and one of the staff even helped him with it, so we thought it was okay.

If that was the reason, you could have just approached us and said that it wasn’t allowed, instead of judging us and assuming we stole them. You also have CCTV there, our table was near the guard, and there were very few people in your branch at the time. Stealing never even crossed our minds. We felt really humiliated. Starbucks Caltex Mamplasan is one of my favorite spots to hang out and relax. It’s a great place to chill, whether you're alone or catching up with friends. What I really like about this branch is the spacious parking area—no stress finding a spot even during busy hours.

It's also a drive-thru branch, which is super convenient if you're just passing through or in a rush. The ambiance inside is cozy, and of course, the drinks are consistently good. For me, this branch is definitely a solid choice for a quick coffee break or even a quiet work session.

Despite being a service station location this Starbucks is rather consistent and the products taste on par if not better than others found in Makati city.

Although because it is a service station you can expect a bit of a wait for the rest room facilities, as there is only one.

The furnishings have also recieved quite a bit of wear but it's not quite to the level where it is ought to be major factor deciding whether to go or not.
