Located in Baclayon and their landmark is a Carabao statue. Once you enter the place there are parking space for cars and motorcycle.
The staff were friendly and have smiles on their faces which was really pleasant. My parents are their regulars so they already know them as well.
They have lots of choices from isaw, seaweeds, pork, chicken, seafood. And a choice if you would like it to be grilled, fried and cooked as a soup.
They have a lot of table seatings under a roof and you can also request to be in their open area and enjoy the star gazing. They also have a little fireplace if you feel cold.
There is an acoustic band which will play while you eat your food.
Food wise, it’s heavenly. The taste of grilled isaw with sauce , wherein you cannot taste the bitter part of it was 🤌🏻. The pork bbq as well as tender. The seaweed branch (as what i call it) - i did not expect the serving to be like a lot for me 😅. The panga (fish) was also good! Soft and grilled to perfection. The squid was also cooked perfectly and the pansit was really good! I have to add more on my plate since it was juicy, tasty and...
Read moreOur dining experience was disappointing. I was craving some BBQ and had hoped this restaurant would be serving good food but NO, it was awful. Although the kids were happy with the mini playground, the FOOD, especially the BBQ (actually all grilled food that we ordered), as well as the sisig were awfully cold. We waited for more than 20 minutes for the food to be served just to receive what, cold BBQ? The servers were nice but when I asked why their food was cold, the response was "basin daghan ra giluto sa sulod", what a lame reason. Grilled food should be served hot, not cold. Sisig served in a hot plate should be sizzling not like it's just been pulled out...
Read moreI believe it is the restaurant's second branch (the first being in Baluarte, near Baclayon Church). This place is a huge improvement over the previous branch. It looks more spacious, tidy and organized, well-designed, clean and sophisticated (it serves locally-made wine!). Service is reliable and quick. Food remains delicious and budget-friendly. It has a sprawling parking area and it also offers WiFi connectivity. Even if it is an open-air restaurant, the place feels cool (I don't know during the day/morning though). This place is definitely good...
