Took almost 2 hours to serve our order of Fiesta Boodle Feast comprised of pansit, pork barbecue, native fried chicken, fried lumpiang gulay (fried vegetable spring roll), tortang talong (eggplant omelette), watermelon and rice. The only warm food item was the torta. I don’t know how it took that long to serve our food. They could have informed us of the long waiting time so we could have adjusted our order or set our expectations for a long wait right after we ordered or even before we ordered. We had with us three kids and we were very hungry when we got there. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked how long it would take to serve, they said 45 minutes. After an hour, we had to order an extra set of barbecues since we were really hungry and it was already displayed. We also ordered halo-halo to serve ASAP since the food took so long to serve. After another 15 minutes, we followed up again and they said that the next boodle is ours. After one and a half hours, the waiter came to our table and even asked us if we were willing to give our boodle to another table. He said they were Senior Citizens. We did not allow this since we have the 3 kids with us and we arrived earlier that the Senior Citizen party. And we have already waited longer than what they told us. And when they finally served the boodle, it wasn’t even warm. After we have finished eating, that was the only time they served the halo-halo. So many improvements could be made to this restaurant. Top priority is customer service. All of these could have been avoided if they set our expectations and informed us beforehand of the long waiting time. When the other customers started going to the cashier area to complain, the manager in casual clothing was nowhere to be seen and we never heard any apology for the delay in serving time. DO NOT EAT HERE if you have an itinerary you need to follow especially if you are touring Bohol, on your way to Chocolate Hills or on your way back to Tagbilaran. QUALITY of food is not like a “high-end carinderia” though presentation is like one. VALUE for money is not worth it. Food is NOT WORTH THE WAIT. So much vacation time and money wasted on this restaurant’s so-so food and poor customer service....

They only have 5 people working the kitchen and the tables, which is way too little considering the size of the restaurant. By lunchtime they ran out of almost every fruit except for bananas and watermelon, they also ran out of tuna belly. The food is ok, you'd be better off eating instant noodles - they take a lot less time, for decent food, for much less. It took around 50 minutes for any food to arrive, and you have to follow-up each drink you order which may even arrive after you've finished eating. It is very hot as there are not enough fans. The only selling point is that it's located a walking distance away from a tarsier conservation center. as we thought we were already done eating, 1 1/2 hours after ordering, there was more food that came. The restaurant only had 3 groups at a time for a space that could hold much more. The only thing that tasted good was the tortang talong, and it only came after...
Read moreCosy restaurant. Best stop over after long ride. Along the main road just opposite of the home for the tarsiers. They have halo halo and mango shake. Love the interior. No wifi allowed making you have a nice conversation with friends. Very cool place made of wood. Beside which have souvenir shops. I think its a great place to stop by before heading to the chocolate hilla or going inside the tarsier conservatory. Love their mango shake though when we came there were less people (which for me is great) would love...
