The food was okay and its value for money is also great. The ambiance is also great though it was a bit warm since it was lunch time and it was an open-air setup. I think it would have been better if we ate there at night since I think there are live performances at that time.
The only problem is their service. It took them a very long time to serve our boodle feast, a longer time (I think they forgot) a separate order of sizzling beef. They completely forgot 2 buko shakes. Despite our repeated follow-ups. Extra rice did not arrive but we were charged 3 cups or extra rice (yet we ordered 4). It felt as if everyone there were new interns.
The good thing though is they offer various payment options including Credit Card. But then again, they will charge you extra 3% for doing so.
For the food alone, I will recommend the place esle, better find another place. Not sure if the servers at night would be...

As for the food, we ordered "Nilasing na Hipon" and "Binagoongan." Both dishes were tasty and satisfying, though there wasn’t anything particularly special or unique about them. The flavors were familiar and well-executed, making for a pleasant dining experience overall.
However, one downside we noticed was the presence of flies in the dining area, which affected the overall comfort while eating. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the dining experience.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for casual Filipino seafood dining, but better pest control and improvements to the parking area could make it even...
Read moreIts name "Mangunguna" translates into "Fisherman," I was told. Highly impressive was their friendly and fast service. Their provincial rustic-style structures are ideally located along Patar Road near resorts. The lack of seaview was ok because you'll have time to chat with family/friends while waiting. Our orders of local delicacies: Fried Fish, Chicken Binakol (in coconut juice), beef, Halo Halo in whole coconut shell, arrived in a few minutes. They were delicious and affordable too. Despite the crowds, it looks they are well-prepared to cope, e.g. with buffet table, good service and clean comfort rooms. I would recommend this restaurant to travellers and...
