i don’t know what happened with café galilea, or specifically this bustos branch, but the service just got worse and worse. i don’t normally make google reviews but this is the second time in a row that the service was extremely poor with this branch.
first, hindi naman super busy ung time that i went there (930pm and post dinner na), but the table reception outside asked me to wait outside to set up my table. it took at least 10 mins. pag tawag sakin, when i was brought to the table, hindi malinis yung table and i had to call TWICE just for them to clean it kasi the first request apparently didn’t seem enough?
second, the service workers don’t seem trained with handling multiple customers. they seem rude and their approach to customers is like parang balewala ka just because there are other customers trying to call them. this one waiter (who had no name pin on, dapat lahat ng staff nila may pin so we can identify them), 2 tables were trying to call him, but he noticed me first, dinedma niya ako and went to the other table first (could’ve said wait lang po to me right?)
third, there was another waiter who took my orders na tapos biglang hindi pala napunch yung orders ko sa system and i ended up having to order again which caused more delay. also this happened twice with another follow up order
another waiter—when i ordered more food for takeout, di binigay sakin ung complete orders ko, muntik pang ibigay sa ibang table.
pati billout and payment super tagal
dont get me wrong, i could understand at the very least kung understaffed sila (i asked if they were, they said yes daw), but thats not an excuse for the pamali-mali and rude na service. It can only be an excuse for the delay.
i typed this just as i was about to leave the restau. ganon ako ka...

Coming back to Café Galilea in Bustos felt like reconnecting with an old friend.
I’ve been visiting this café since it first opened—back when my childhood friends would pick me up just to chill and catch up here. After two years away, I finally had the chance to return, and I was genuinely surprised (and impressed!) by the changes. They’ve renovated and expanded their seating area, creating a more spacious and comfortable environment without losing the cozy charm I remember.
Food & Drinks: Their food and drink selection is still just as good as I remember. Everything we ordered was satisfying, and the flavors hit the spot. Sadly, I didn’t get to try their cakes this time—but that just gives me a reason to come back again soon.
Pet-Friendly Vibes: Fur parents, take note! Café Galilea is one of those rare gems where you can hang out with your fur babies while enjoying a relaxing meal. It’s a great spot for both humans and pets to unwind.
A Small Wish: I truly hope they maintain the same quality and service that made this original Bustos branch so special. I’ve heard mixed feedback about newer outlets, but this one still holds its ground—and heart.
Final Thoughts: Café Galilea Bustos continues to be a great spot for reconnecting, relaxing, and making memories. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, it’s definitely...
