Found this restaurant by googling 'Pizza places near me'
What we liked: It was a moderately pleasant experience than what we initially expected since the restaurant is a small corner store, the staff are nice and helped us figure out how to order since they have different options for toppings and crust. Their pizzas have nice brick oven texture and are mostly reasonably priced.
What we didn't like: The restaurant was stuffy and had an ac that didn't work. There were also a lot of flies that bothered us while we tried to eat. It was a rainy afternoon, and their neighbor had pigs so maybe that's one of the reasons why there are a lot of flies around.
We ordered: Four Cheese Margherita 9 inch regular toppings, Veggie Pizza 9 inch regular toppings, Bacon-Ham-Egg-and-Cheese sub sandwich, Calzone, Bacon Alfredo and Savory fries
Personally we prefer more savory flavours and we found the food lacking a bit in that area; I had to use a lot of ketchup and hot sauce to add flavor to my pizza (I am a fan of Margherita and Veggie Pizzas--I get that they are not as flavorful as meat pizzas. Dear Darla, Crosta, and Pizza Telefono Veggie Pizzas are the standards.) and my partner had to salt his pasta quite a bit, the sandwich and Calzone though are good and packed with savory filling. Fries are paired with a nice mayo sriracha looking dip.
We met the owner who seems like a cool guy. He is a foreigner and he asked us if we saved room for cheesecake. 😂 I collect he also does Bible study for the community and I hope they improve their place cause they have great...

We ordered two pizzas, two pasta dishes, lemonade, a couple of rice meals, and two cheesecake variants - all devoured in minutes. The food is that good. I wasn't able to take photos of the pasta because before I had the chance, hungry hands were already on it.
Ice cold beer in a frosted glass is the best pairing with pizza, esp on a hot day. Have a chat with the owner and chef, Keith, while he's crafting the best pizzas you'll ever have, all made from scratch right in front of you.
I'm so glad we found this place while on vacay. My daughters wanted to give Keith and Mama Mia a thousand stars for this review, and when I said we could only go up to five, they said I should talk to Google and rectify it.
Maybe I will.
PS. Can't wait to go back and try the smoked cheese burger. That's on my bucket list the next time I'm...
Read moreMe and my college criends went to Matabungkay for a summer get-away. It was late in the evening and we were so lazy to cook so we went out to look for a place to dine. We searched for nearby resto in google and found this pizzeria. We were surprised to be greeted by an Italian guy who happens to be the cook and owner of the resto. The food was so good and the taste was authentic! We even saw him making the dough by himself for the calzonni. We were so happy we even went back there to eat lunch when we checked out. Keith (the owner) and his Filipina wife were very kind. We definitely...
