Benitta & Flora's Bistro Cafe — Restaurant in Camarines Sur

I was told they served American food. They certainly don't know how to prepare it. Of the 5 dishes I tried, there was only one that tasted decent. The "Caesar salad" had limp lettuce, no croutons, and was drenched in a sauce that tasted like mayo instead of classic Caesar salad dressing...ick...I didn't finish the small portion I took. The "taco salad" was gross, and the "nachos" were basically a pile of lettuce with a few (very few) tortilla chips underneath. Both were covered with some processed cheese sauce. Neither tasted like they should...hint...lay off the cucumbers. The hamburger was chewy (that was my kids' description). I tried to eat my daughter's because she didn't like it (she normally loves hamburgers). It was full of gristle, and yes, quite chewy. I had to spit chunks of it out as I got tired of chewing it. It was perhaps the worst hamburger I ever had. I was fortunate to scrape the plate of the loaded tater tots, which tasted decent but not great. Again...processed cheese sauce.

The service was poor and inattentive. The ambiance is very nice, but it doesn't make up for paying for poor tasting food and having to eat when you get home because you're still hungry. I would be embarrassed to serve this quality of food in my home or elsewhere. This is not what these dishes are supposed...

Visited this place because of its accessibility. It's near the road so you can easily find this place.
