Chowking — Restaurant in Camiling

Hungry and tired from the 3-hour drive from Pangasinan, we decided to eat at a familiar-looking resto chain located on a main road. But the typical Chowking fast, correct and reliable service, and clean comfort room were not available at this branch. Our 5 orders of siopao lacked 1 and were not even warm, and were served only after more than 20 minutes. The glasses of pineapple juice were more than half full of ice cubes. came all the way from manila and planned to stop at Chowking Camiling for halo-halo. When we arrived at Chowking Camiling, the store was not busy, with only a few tables oocupied and several staff standing at the counter. Ordered halo-halo for 5 people only to be told that it is not available. The menuboard for halo-halo was not even signposted as not available. I really struggled to stay silent about it because I'm really just nitpicking, but we went at around 4 pm. We wanted bola bola siopao but was informed that it was going to take 18 minutes, so we ordered the siomai instead, assuming that it will take a lot faster to prepare.
