What an absolute horror to dine here, honestly! We were so excited to celebrate mum’s bday, and so lucky that we got to find this place on the night before the celebration. On the day of the celebration my sister and I decided to visit the place and experience it beforehand and to get an idea of how the food and serving will look like. First impression is that the place looks fancy, floor staff are nice and friendly but food portioning is a bit questionable (filipino dishes to be exact) we ordered kare-kare crispy ( we were told the serving is good for 2-3 person) funny enough, when it got to our table it was only good for a single person for the price of P470. Still, we are optimistic about the other food since one of the staff said that the portions are quite big. And so we still push through the reservation for mum’s bday celeb dinner. To make the story short, we made the reservation, ordered food in advance and paid half of the total bill earlier that day. When we arrived that evening, we were greeted and seated and was told that all of my orders are all ready to serve, only to find out 5 mins later that my 2x order of beef caldereta and 3x order of sisig are sold out, and I said no problem I will just replace them with something else to then the staff said okay. Another 5 mins passes by, another staff approach me and said that my order of sisig are being prepare (which to me is so confusing) one guy said it was sold out, another one said it’s being prepared. Oh, and you think that that is annoying. 10 mins after we are seated I ordered extra 10 cups of rice since our table is running out and I followed another 10 cups since another members of the family are coming so total of 20 cups, and you think it will only take 3-4 mins to serve the rice since they only need to scoop it, put it in a bowl and serve it, but no, it took a f*ckin half an hour to get the rice to our table. Everything went downhill from here. Honestly, I have anothing to say againts the floor staffs, they were nothing but friendly and super helpful. Except for we didn’t get our water refill, not til the end. The problem was in the kitchen, they should have made sure that pre-ordered food was all ready and if anything is sold out made sure it was out and not to confuse the customers. From were i was seated, I can see the kitchen staff rumbling and almost running to each other with their lacking. I was expecting that everything will go smooth since I made a reservation beforehand and that the food was all prepared before we even get here and if I added more it wouldn’t take that long. I think most of our guest just kind of hold back to the food because they saw how small the portions are. The portions, and i’m not even exaggerated, are way too small, considering how expensive it is. I was gonna come back just because I really like the place but I wont because of how bad the service was and 10% service charge of the total bill does not justify that. I just hope that the staffs are getting paid and treated well considering how much money customers spend here.

Read moreWe’ve eaten here several times and still haven’t tried everything on the menu since they offer rotating dishes that change in tune with the season.
Pros: Plenty of parking. Beautiful garden grounds. Five star dining venue, air conditioned, with floor to ceiling windows and rustic decor. Menu includes a variety of staple dishes and unique dishes only available at cz ranch. Service is flawless, dishes are quick to come out unless we are told there’s a wait, but never more than 15 minutes. Food is tasty and always served warm and fresh, from the pandesal starter, main dishes, to the house made cakes.
Cons: Some people say that the prices are a bit high but you’re getting what you pay for in the quality of food. Depending on what you order, many of the prices are comparable to other restaurants such as the sisig and crispy pata but you get to enjoy the ambiance of cz ranch. Also, many of the dishes are large enough to share.
Recommendations: Pandesal with honey lemon butter - so good and best part is it’s free. Pizza focaccia - all flavors are good, perfect for sharing but if you’re extra hungry you can add an order of chicken wings or salad. Lolo Joe’s ribs - it’s their signature dish for a reason, it’s delicious and you can only get it here! Can’t wait to...
Read moreA hidden culinary gem in the heart of Capas, Tarlac nestled amidst green pastures and a flower garden CZ ranch offers a dining experience like no other. The restaurant itself is rustic yet elegant space with warm wood accents. But it's the food at CZ Ranch that truly steals the show. The menu is a celebration of locally sourced ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce and expertly prepared meats. Ive tasted many foods all over Manila and BGC. This restaurant in Capas offers a new twist in modern Filipino cooking. The Kare-Kare with crispy pork belly aka bagnet is unique hands down the best Kare-Kare I’ve tasted in Philippines, simply delicious! I had the pleasure of trying the signature CZ Ranch steak, a perfectly cooked giant USDA ribeye that practically melted in my mouth! The service at CZ Ranch is also top-notch, with attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make your dining experience exceptional. From the moment you sit down to the last bite of dessert, you are made to feel like a valued guest, and every need is anticipated and met...
