Chateau de Busay Inn & Restaurant — Restaurant in Cebu City

Scenic view, that's all. We had a disastrous and chaotic wedding experience for both guests and us.!! There were 2 other ongoing wedding ceremony and receptions. Hence, our reception were lack of staffs. One example, my guests asked for drinking water several times and they never came, but they serve 7-up.. 🤦🏽‍♀️

They sent us seating plan in advance but was different on the actual day. Our ushers were confused, no help was available, and guests were standing confused and not sure where to go. We booked for 110 guests, but table setup was only for 100. The extra table only came after our guests were standing while eating. They left after eating and theres an empty table. Can't find the word to describe what to feel.

Horrible!! It was a nightmare once in a lifetime wedding. It's been a month, and my relatives who attended were all complaining till this day. They flew from other countries, looking forward to excitement but ended in disappointment....

Charged us for so much money and additional charges - not sure if the extras were accurate..

Overall, bad service. The place was overcrowded, it's a greedy restaurant that only wants profit - squeezing 3 weddings in a day. Overestimated their ability. We booked this location because of good reviews and the view. Look what we've got!!

If anybody asks if we'd recommend this location, we'd say a huge "NOPE, DON'T!" How I wish we can get back some refund or compensation for this nightmare experience but nope guess not because it's a greedy for profit...

With its elevated location and strategic frontage, this place is another good spot to take a break from the bustling city below. With cold beer in hand (@ P99 a pop!), some 'pulutan' and the company of family or friends, it's a relaxing respite from all that pollution, traffic noise and urban heat down below - and it's just a short drive from the city's center. Food-wise, there's still much room for improvement esp. with regards to pricing. Service is quick and courteous. Yup, certainly worth a visit.

That time they had a set menu with entree, appetizer, course meal and dessert. And on top of that a fireworks display to end the night. The place gives you a garden like feels where you can see a lot of greens and a sniff of fresh air. This place sits on top of a hill and gives you an overlooking view of the city. This place usually lits up at night with their series lights and various places, it gives you a bit of a magical feel. Just hope that it wouldn't rain, since it's so much better to dine outdoors.

I rarely do 5 star ratings but i've been to this venue a year ago (had my wedding here) and I returned to attend a friend's wedding. They're consistent. The atmosphere is just so comforting and the staff are incredibly attentive and accommodating. Please do tip them when you can, they work hard and do a good job. I don't recommend dining here though on a regular lunch or dinner. They're just okay but it wouldn't be worth the price you are paying -probably intentional to discourage walk in customers from overloading the kitchen when they're attending to events at the same time. . .
