Ai's Beach Resort & Restaurant — Restaurant in Cebu

We eat here often when in Argao and have been over a very long time. Just recently I turned my other North American friends with their Filipino wives on to this nice little place . My one friend knows a lot of foreigners at the other local businesses in the area who inquired about it to him and he since has told them its worth a try and that he enjoyed the place along with my other friends.. I can say don't be expecting finger bowls at the table or a waiter offering you Domaine Leroy Richebourg Grand Cru 1949 with your meal but it is the only restaurant of its kind that any of us seen that offers bathroom etiquette and the bathroom is very clean with all the necessities in it and the restaurant area is always very clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. So if your looking for a 5 star place to eat with Valet parking and $600 wine and $200 dishes on the menu don't go here, but if you want a nice atmosphere with good food friendly staff decent prices then this is the place to satisfy your hunger needs.....and I forgot to mention ask for the password for the wifi also they will be more than glad to oblige.

Stayed for 4 nights for the convenience of tasty restaurant and clean room. Depending on your hotel package, ours include breakfast. Breakfast always professionally prepared; ham, over-easy eggs, rice or toast, and nice veggies included. Lunch and dinner were equally tasty (compared to other major eateries in town) and prices were much more reasonable. Always ask for what’s fresh that day so you can set your expectation. Occasionally electricity was off due to city electrical work outside. But you got to see them cook up crazy good dishes and meticulously serving patrons under cell phone light! And the water shortage? The minute one roof top top water tank dried up, they switch to another tank in a heart beat. We fully expect these quirks given its locality. Everything is on a very high level - food, service, very friendly staff, the place is cosy and clean and with a gorgeous view on the sea.

I was surprised that the rating is so low. When I read all of those bad reviews I was also disappointed because i experienced the greatest service here.
