THE CASHIER FORGOT ABOUT OUR ORDER!!!

We were wondering what's taking so long almost half an hour waiting when we just order 2 iced coffees and 3 pastries. Told my sister to go down and check maybe the buzzer was not working, when my sister went inside the cashier was just using her phone and the barista wasn't doing any orders. My sister asked where's our order, the cashier said "unsa diay inyo gi-order katong samgyup?" turns out she didn't print the receipt and didn't relay the order to the barista. I also went inside since my sister told me our order wasn't made, asked the cashier where's our order, she didn't answer and just went inside the kitchen to hide. She wasn't even remorseful about what she did, and didn't apologize atleast for forgetting our order. Our order was even done wrong as the other pastry was for take-out. The cashier even forgot to prepare my change, I had to ask for it again after our order was done by the barista. Next time stop using your phone while working so you have presence of mind when working! 🙄

To add, the coffees we ordered taste bad and watered down. Red velvet was too mushy. Not a recommendable café....

Honest Review about the place

Pros: ✅ Good location and Nice interior design. ✅ Provides free fast wifi for 3 hours per code. ✅ Good food and reasonable price ✅ Good Customer service ✅ With private indoor clean toilet. ✅ Ample space for car parking ✅ Accepts digital wallet gcash (Coz I hate exchanging cash due to the pandemic.)

Areas of opportunity

😔 There souvenir items arent good. As we bought their box alcohol spray not knowing the both spill everytime you spray.

😔 They have a roof deck but it's too hot during the day as no roof or umbrella was setup.

😔 Their blended beverages tasted average not really a wow factor.

😔 Quite from the Tricity ( Cebu, Mandaue, Lapu lapu) Traffic is horrible from mandaue, Consolacion to there.

Overall experience was good that's why I took 1 star as there are some areas of improvements.

They also have a pizza kitchen outside that was not opened yet as we visited there in the middle of the day around 12nn. So best to visit during evening to experience what they can offer and stay on...

We visited Café 8020 in Liloan with our children and found it to be a pleasant place to unwind. While my husband and I enjoyed our coffee, the kids were comfortably busy with their homeschooling. By the way, the twins had cake and water and they seemed to enjoy the quiet atmosphere too.

My husband really liked one of their cold beverages, and I personally appreciated the refreshing touch of their dehydrated lemon, simple but satisfying.

It’s just a bit of a shame that their outdoor area, where they usually prepare the pizzas, was under renovation during our visit. One of my daughters was really looking forward to trying their pizza. Hopefully, we can come back once everything's up and...
