Capitancillo used to be our go-to restaurant, whether for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
We had been regulars since 2014—dining at this restaurant to celebrate birthdays, life’s small victories, or whenever we wanted to treat friends or relatives from different towns. But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, I guess.
We recently invited some friends to dine at the restaurant, not knowing it was one of their busiest days. That’s understandable—given their good food and reasonable prices. After some waiting, we were finally seated and had already placed our orders. We were informed that the serving time would be around 45 minutes to an hour due to the number of customers, which was acceptable at the time.
However, what wasn’t acceptable was that almost all the food we ordered was already sold out or unavailable—and they didn’t bother to inform us until nearly an hour later. Had they told us sooner, we would’ve had time to find an alternative place to dine.
We were left with no choice but to order food that wasn’t really our preference, simply because we no longer had time to look for another place.
It was embarrassing, especially since we had bragged about the place and its good service to the friends we had invited.
They didn’t even bother to apologize for the inconvenience.
We’ve decided not to dine at this place anymore, and we’ll no longer be recommending it like we used to. I’m not the type of person who writes reviews, but because of this recent experience, I feel compelled...
Read moreAs soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was struck by the welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and modern, and the lighting was just right to create a warm and cozy ambiance.
The food was truly outstanding, with each dish more delicious than the last. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the pochero, which was simply divine. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the chunks of beef were so tender that they practically melted in my mouth. It was clear that the chef had put a lot of thought and care into crafting this dish.
But it wasn't just the food that made this dining experience so memorable. The service crew were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and satisfied. Even the security guard was warm and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of great food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere make it a true standout. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and try the pochero - it's truly a chef's kiss!

Read moreSuper disappointed with our experience here last weekend. My family and I eat here whenever we are in town and we wanted to celebrate and share the experience with our friends and relatives. We made a reservation for Sunday lunch and they confirmed it and even sent us a receipt. Fast forward to Sunday and I called an hour prior to our reservation because I wanted to order in advance only to be told that my reservation was not confirmed because they apparently dont accept reservations on weekend. If i didnt call, i wouldnt even know that I did not have any reservation anymore. We were able to dine but it took 5 follow ups just for us to get our drinks and another 5 to be served rice) Its super messy, disorganise and the people working there was ignoring us already. Our orders took almost 2 hours to be served. Its messy, its disorganised and it was a sunday so they should have anticipated the foot traffic. And we were surprised at how bland the food was considering that they have always made good food.
Overall, we went there to celebrate and ended up being so stressed and disappointed.
By the way, they have limited seats and no...
