Visited January 8th 2025 for lunch 6 family members. Had just Visited St Peter and Paul Bantayan Island Church which had magnificent religious paintings on its ceiling which was quite inspiring. Decided to have lunch and about a 5 minute walk just off the town square there is Kermit's Cafe and Pastry. Unfortunately my first two choices Burritos and Burgers were unavailable. So ended up with spaghetti for 130 pesos. The spaghetti was acceptable. However this Cafe specialises in Cakes and cupcakes/muffins. If you love Cakes this is the place for you. Not only Cakes but Halo-Halo and sweet shakes. Mango shakes and Halo-Halo were good. Kermit's would be easier to find and have better atmosphere and views if situated on the Town Square. If your into Coffee and Cake this...

Great food, possibly the best I've had in Bantayan Island. Really enjoyed the meals and sumptuous desserts. The eye-catching cakes are to die for. Extremely worth it, super great value for money. Staff are attentive, fast, and professional. Must-visit when in Bantayan!

The biggest drawback is that it gets quite hot during lunch time. It is also a little crowded with the limited seating inside. Some child beggars wandered inside, and I am grateful to the staff for asking them to leave (though the children came back inside and hassled some guests anyway).

Heads up, if you are travelling with a private vehicle it is difficult to find good parking in the area. The street Kermit's is located in is also pretty narrow.

Hope everyone...

If you're visiting Bantayan Island, make sure you include Kermits on your go-to list.

What I really love about Kermits Bantayan is how affordable their food is, and it's very delicious and good. The service and atmosphere at Kermits are decent.

The highlight of our lunch here is the Aligue pasta. Every taste feels so rich, and it was greasy, but hey, it has that seafood taste. I know they used crab fat paste something for the Aligue Pasta.

As for the other foods, they were decently okay. The sweets at Kermits are so good.

I would definitely come back here to try their Aligue pasta again, the best. Also, plus points for serving us service water that isn't tap water. Our overall...
