Interesting spot. 15-20 minutes from General Luna park and walk up the mountain about 7 minutes. The trail isn’t too bad. If I were to do it again I probably wouldn’t sleep there rather I’d just leave early and spend the day.

Pros:

✅Beautiful mountain retreat and hiking trails ✅Bed in hut was comfortable with bug screen ✅friendly & accommodating staff ✅great place to get in touch with nature ✅campfire area for a group of people ✅crazy bowl pool overlooking mountains

Cons

❌food selection is weak ❌it’s apparent they are not used to many clients ❌lots of bugs around dusk so bring spray ❌a bit pricey

This was hit hard during Odette and they had to rebuild. When they rebuilt they ended up making it smaller. If they spent time & money on marketing it would be interesting to see what this place could become in 18-24 months. I would recommend sleeping there if you are a hardcore nature lover. If not, then just go for the day cause the views from here trump that coconut 🌴 viewing deck hand down and it’s closer to general luna as well.

Thank you to the staff for...

I have stayed for an overnight here in Canijugan Peak, and I have to say it's a must-visit if you come to siargao. If you want a day without the crowd and get in touch with nature, then this is the perfect place for you. About 20 minutes from GL, then a 5-10 minute hike going to the site. I suggest to book an overnight stay for overall experience of evening bonfire, kawa bath, and to witness the best sunset view of Siargao. Very accommodating and friendly staff. I enjoyed the Kawa bath with breathtaking mountainview, but it takes another 5-minute hike to get there. Site restaurant has a good menu selection. Lechon sisig and carbonara was good.

Cons: 1.) Places are run by solar energy. So, there might be no electricity by night. They will give you a powerbank and a lamp as a light source. 2.) Mosquitos are annoying, but it can be managed by having mosquito repellants and mosquito coil 3.) Little to no mobile signal can be an issue but being offline can be an advantage for full retreat and relaxation. Globe can give decent signal...

I don’t even know where to begin, this place is an absolute gem! From the moment you trail up the hill, you’re greeted not just by breathtaking views but by the most down-to-earth, genuine people you’ll ever meet. The hospitality here is beyond amazing—they treat you like family, always with a smile and open heart. surrounded by greenery, fresh air, and serenity and it’s the kind of place where time slows down. And then there’s the bath… wow. Imagine soaking in warm water, surrounded by leaves, while overlooking the most stunning view in the world. This place gives you exactly what you didn’t even know you needed. A slice of paradise, with people whose kindness makes the experience unforgettable.

Highly, highly recommend visiting and you’ll leave with a full heart and a...
