The Halfway Cafe — Restaurant in Dauin

Despite the bad weather (Typhoon Kristine) I came here with a dear friend and he treated me.

We order the burger with fries, the fish and chips, with carrot cake and choco bounty for dessert. The desseets were quite good and the burger was nice. I didnt ask about the fish and chips but my friend finished it and thats usually a good sign.

It was raining and the wind was strong but despite this, we stayed dry in the cafe because they had plastic coverings securely set up around the sides. The furnishings of the place are cohesive and cozy. There are a few couches where several patrons can have a more casual experience, and theres a pool table as well. There are also a decent number of outlets around if you plan to charge your devices. The view wouldve been so nice, I think.

The service is pretty good, they were kind and helpful in spite of the bad weather. I would be happy to come...

We were there yesterday and the view and breeze was super. Who ever was the one behind the idea did a good job. We order 3 burger 1 fish and ships and I believe a curry. First food comes not in the same time. It's not nice if half of the table has to wait Second some parts of the order got forgotten Bottle water and strawberry shake comes only after asking for it All french fries and the fish coating was so crispy that it was near to not eatable. I am sure they use an air fryer and don't know the time settings The Strawberry shake was produced with old milk (sour). At least we didn't have to pay for it

All in all, our visit was terrible. The waiter girl looks sweaty, the food was overcooked, and the shake was done with sour milk. I feel pity to the owner, everyone who have a bad experience like us will...
