Visiting this restaurant became my daily routine. It's a vegan restaurant, but I was amazed as a non-vegetarian. In the end I became a regular here. My top 5 favorite dishes are: 1.Shushi 2.Dumplings 3.Sisig 4.the wrap 5.Meat Balls Spaghetti
At the first time visit, I ordered Spaghetti with vegan meatballs, and the price is fair enough with good quality of handmade food. The vegan-meat balls tasted like onions mixed with mushrooms. Surprisingly, the boss said they were banana hearts. I googled it and found found it's kinda fleshy, purple-skinned flower, shaped like a teardrop, growing at the end of the banana fruit bunch. , traditionally used in Southeast Asian and Indian cooking.
Then the American couple sitting next to me, the guy ordered dumplings... he ate them until he had an orgasm! He said it was the best dumpling he has ever eaten in his life... I don’t know if that’s an exaggeration. So I came back and try it on the other day....then I just couldn't stop coming back and tried all of the manu. And made my new fuzzy friends.🥰
Since Filipino food is generally heavy, this restaurant definitely good choice for people of all nationalities , just give it a try! Love everything of handmade vegan food. Highly...
Read moreMy vegan friend and I were really excited to try this place when we heard it was a vegan restaurant. This is in fact NOT a vegan restaurant and so it should really be called Vegetarian Shack. You really shouldn't be labelling a restaurant as vegan and serving cow's milk, how can you call it vegan. What we also found extremely disturbing was there was a fish kept in a very small glass jar inside the restaurant. This is very cruel and also not vegan. The owner claimed that the fish can survive in small amounts of water, but even though that may be true, it is still very cruel. It made the whole experience very uncomfortable, despite the food tasting nice. I really hope these issues can be addressed, as aside from this, the owner did seem like a very nice person, so it could be lack of education. It would be nice if they could commit to making the restaurant actually vegan (which is an ethical stance against all forms of animal cruelty, not just plant-based food). Despite there being plenty of vegan options, we wouldn't return here to eat. We would instead dine at the real vegan restaurants here such as Shaka and...

The Vegan Shack is an absolute gem for anyone who loves delicious plant-based food! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure that every guest feels right at home.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The Veggie Fritters are, hands down, my favorite dish on the menu! They’re crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors on the inside. Paired with their tangy dipping sauce, it’s a combination that keeps me coming back again and again.
Every dish I've tried here has been a hit, and it's clear that The Vegan Shack takes great care in crafting meals that are not only healthy but also incredibly satisfying. Whether you're a long-time vegan or just curious about trying plant-based cuisine, this is the place to be.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious, guilt-free meal in a cozy and friendly environment. I can’t wait for...
