Title: A view like art, nice food but not cheap
Kind and smiling staff Serving time was ok Good portions Good presentation of the product Awesome 180° view to Panglao and the sea Very beautiful and cozy design, the chairs had upholstery so you can sit hours and enjoy the view Price, quality to quantity is only ok I had some pastry, the horse shoes and the chocolate sandwich. Both taste was very nice and I can recommend.
Expensive I had the Reuben Sandwich with beef pastrame. The portion was good the price not compared to the quality. The good part was the self made sourdough bread was served with thick slices as a sandwich, it was cross and tasty. Now the sad part, it was only a thin slices of Pastrame inside and the toast was full of sourkraut (pickled cabbage) a slice of cheese and mustard sauce. The Pastrame was not the star in this composition, you don't feel the taste in never bite. All in all the Sandwich had a sour taste from the cabbbage with mustard taste and a little cheese taste. This composition should be rethinked and reworked The staff forgot that I already paid my meal in advance. After I wanted to buy additionaly a bread I saw again a big bill, it has cleared up quickly but it was a strange not a professional situation...
o I gave 5 stars because of the awesome view and the cozy design of the Cafe the pastry was also good
Explanation of my votings
Pro Contra o Only for your information
To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 360 ratings, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something spec...

Firstly, the cafe's location is challenging to find, with inaccurate directions on Google Maps exacerbating the issue. The lack of clear signage or proper directions can frustrate potential customers, resulting in a discouraging experience before they even arrive.
Furthermore, the road leading to the cafe, designed for only one vehicle at a time, presents a significant inconvenience. Navigating such a narrow path can be stressful and time-consuming (esp. if naay katagbo), deterring customers who prefer a more accessible and hassle-free experience.
Another drawback is the limited space available in the parking area. Insufficient parking facilities can cause frustration and inconvenience, resulting in a negative impression of the cafe even before stepping foot inside. And even to customers who were already inside 'cause the staff had to call them to move their car samot na'g avery wrong pagka-park.
Then upon entering, I was disheartened to discover a lack of cleanliness in their comfort rooms. Dirty facilities reflect poorly on the overall hygiene standards of the establishment.
Additionally, I expect warm, welcoming, and accommodating staff because that's what I've read in the reviews. Sadly, I encountered an unfriendly staff member that detracts from the overall ambiance and enjoyment.
Lastly, the quality of the food falls short of expectations. In a cafe with such an extraordinary view, I naturally anticipate an experience that matches the setting. Disappointing food can leave a lasting negative impression and discourage potential return visits or recommendations.
Considering these various shortcomings, I would suggest exploring alternative options that offer a more pleasant and well-rounded experience...
Read moreWe went to the wrong location at first because Google Maps directed us to the wrong place. I’ve heard news of efforts to have it fixed which is good, though. Thankfully we asked someone for directions and it turns out the actual location wasn’t that far from the wrong one. As many other reviews say, there isn’t much parking space, so you should have a friend to walk ahead and check if there are open spots for you. If it’s all occupied, you can park somewhere else like on the roadside, though.
Its definitely a twisty trek getting up here but the view is amazing. I appreciate how incorporated greenery is, it makes the place feel very fresh. This may not be very noticeable, but I also really loved the small framed artworks on display around the café. The style of it is so interesting to me and it makes me curious as to who the artist is. There’s a cute swing and an area with toys for children to play with. Two other people I went with ordered coffee drinks and seemed to have liked it. I like the gelato and I wish I bought more sweets...
