McDonald's — Restaurant in Davao City

I’d understand why people prefer this branch over others. Like them, I was after the ambiance—away from the buzz of the city.

This newly built branch was, as expected, clean. Even on our second visit, the place was maintained clean at all times. They had already adapted to the new technologies being applied in fast food chain restaurants today e.g. self-order computer systems and cashless payment options. Consequently, they made transactions faster and more convenient. However, they still kept the traditional method for those who have difficulty adjusting to the new technology.

Moreover, unlike other branches, it was spacious and the premises offers ample parking space.

There was only one noticeable problem in this branch: the staffs. Although trained, they lacked sense of responsibility, team work and initiative. I even witnessed the manager reprimanding two frontline employees.

Apart from everything that I had mentioned, there was nothing new to this branch. They offered the same menu. The customer service was according to standards.

Maybe its just me or they just had a very bad day that day. Its a sunday afternoon around 1:00pm and there's not much people at the store. We are waiting for the food and the screen pops up ready to serve, so I went to the counter and actually, It was not ready at all. Location is nice as surrounding is not crowded. Although located near the highway, it is located at the top of a hilly climb, which hopefully help avoid accidents due to speeding vehicles. I just observed the handle of the left and right doors are not leveled with each other, and the faucet handle at the male restroom suddenly broke although new.
