This resto is highly recommended by some acquaintances. They say, you should not leave Davao without tasting the famed Pakfry which is exclusively offered by PaloVince. Pakfry is a contraction of the words paksiw and fry, the perfect way to describe their unique way of cooking the Buntot ng Tuna.
From the taste of it, i am suspecting that the fish was cooked on vinegar and spices then l deep-fried to get the desired crisp.
It tastes really good. The tuna is crispy on the outside but really tender and tasty in the inside. Definitely, a must try.
We also ordered Banana Heart Cooked in Soy Sauce and Vinegar or to set it straight, Adobong Puso ng Saging. Just like their flagship dish, their Banana Heart is also a hit.
The service is a bit longer, which is understandable considering the complexity of the procedure. Staff are respectful ( although I notice that they’re a bit undermanned). The place though is relaxing but quite a distance from Davao’s CBD.
