The exterior of the place is very unassuming. You can't even tell that it's a Mexican restaurant until you get inside because you're greeted with a rustic decor with lively Mexican music playing in the background which was such a pleasant surprise. It really adds to the ambience and vibe of the place.
As for the food, I can't deny that it's a bit pricey, but in terms of the serving size, it's very much worth it. Their burrito could already feed two people! We also ordered their carnitas taco which had a very nice flavor. It was nicely seasoned, but wasn't too overpowering. Their con carne nachos was also good as it had this savory taste to it. I thoroughly enjoyed their mixed berries shake along with their strawberry shake. It could easily pass off as a dessert which made me extremely happy. In terms of their service, even though there were a lot of customers, we didn't need to wait long for our orders to be served!
Overall, would definitely go back to try their other items...
Read moreThe owner was very friendly and accomodating. The staffs were polite. The service was good and fast. I love the burritos. I think I prefer their version of burritos rather than the authentic ones I had tried in the USA (I’m too Filipino). Their beef caldereta was a good one, too. It was tender and flavory. The Bistek was a bit disappointing. We ordered a well done steak, but they gave us a rare and it was hard to cut and chew. Priced at 600 pesos a piece and we ordered two. So, that was kinda 👎 for us. The place was relaxing because of the cool weather but the number of flies flying from one meal to the next was not a pleasant way to enjoy the food coz we kept shooing the flies away. The price was kinda pricey. They have a garden area where you could walk around and see different flowers and plants. Overall, the place was...
Read moreDelicious food! Not very authentic but very very tasty so I'm giving them five stars! They are the same owners of Wildberry a few kilometers away by the Quarantine Checkpoint in Lorega.
Best carnitas tacos I've had in this side of the world - literally no competition in Davao lol. We always come back for the tacos, the quesadilla, the adobong baboy ramo (surprisingly really good) and the bistek! For the drinks, we only ever order their mixed berry smoothie. 💯
Go there on a weekday if you wanna avoid the crowds since they get really packed during the weekend. Or go there very early to get prime seats. I prefer outside in the balcony, away from the crowd and the street and you get a lovely view of the gardens outside. They also have a room full of surplus plates and utensils that are for sale - just ask to be shown...
