More a complete "worth to visit" Restaurant than a tank-stop cafe. It will replace our old "Celys Cafe" Stop at the traffic light down to GenSan, which is in the meanwhile more "Abandoned". This Celys Cafe here you can really visit also for a venue or for a romantic diner. Very nice decorated, good (but not too cold) Aircon, friendly staff, very good Coffee. Try the Spaghetti Maritime with Shrimps! Not sweet like often in the Philippines, more a international / Italic Taste, very well. Also the beef is very nice, a little bit tender. You can also have ice cold Beer (e.g. my favorite SM Light), i think they don't turn of the Ref in the night (like other Restaurants). Worth to visit at your petrol refill, also worth to visit for having a lunch or diner. The CR is... not half as good as the Restaurant and the food. It is still more than "Normal Philippino CR", because most Philippino CR's are far beyond any compare, you can use this w/o any hesitation. But it is less groomed than expected after visiting the main...
Read moreWe found a nice place to eat in Digos City: a cafe that serves hot meals as well, called Celyâs Cafe. It has a huge dining area that seats 100 people or more, with separate rooms for small functions.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. You must try their Beef Hawaiian; itâs mouthwatering and filled with cheese. The Shrimp Marinara was also good, and the Fish Steak tasted great as well. By the way, the Quarter Chicken Leg is just right and comes with a free iced tea. They have cakes too.
They serve a buffet lunch for P350 every Sunday.
The place is clean, and the chairs are comfortable. The restrooms are neat and clean and equipped with bidets.
Parking is not an issue here.
The downside is they donât accept credit cards or GCash payments, so if you dine here, make sure to bring cash. WiFi is not available, and the telco signal is weak. These are minor issues but should be addressed. The staff are friendly and...
Read moreWe used to dine at their Sinawilan branch but luckily they now have this branch at Rizal Avenue, and its way bigger in terms of space. We love their shrimp marinara and beef cheeze burger, good too that the taste does not vary between branches. We're eager to try their sunday buffet. The downside is its probably crowded right after morning mass from the...
