The place is okay. Good food but gets beaten by the fact that the staff are indifferent to rude. I figured the place was designed as a stopover for travellers so people coming over are tired from long drives. My family and I decided to stop over after driving from Norala, South Cotabato. We took our puppy with us and put him in a well covered cage. Before entering, we were blatantly discouraged by the guard that we're not allowed to enter with the dog. He did not even suggest for us to sit outside the place. They did not even put up a signage that says pets are not allowed. We couldve understood the point if he just said it politely but he was very rude. The attendant/cashier by the "pasalubong" store was not even happy to see customers not to mention the attendants by the restaurant. The point is I was hoping to relax after a long drive but to be greeted by rudeness is utterly stressful and I swear I'm never going to patronize the...

Everyone's favorite foodstop when you're from or going to Davao City via Digos City. The restaurant/pasalubong center along the national highway just outside Digos towards Davao City has become iconic, its native specialties and delicacies, including its rice meals, coffee and desserts have become quite popular among motorists and travelers.

Famous are the hot bibingka or rice cakes, among other rice-based and cassava kakanins (local delicacies) that you would find long queues waiting to get some fresh from the oven, at any given time. The place also serves breakfast, lunch or dinner at their fastfood area where precooked dishes are on display for the people who are on the go. Brewed local coffee is among my favorites at Mer's.

Very good service. Fast and efficient. Courteous and friendly staff.

Clean restrooms. Ample...

Definitely the go-to place to buy pasalubong for loved ones 😋😋😋

The delicacies for sale are really delicious. Their bibingka (I think) is their most saleable because whenever I come here, most travellers are waiting for it. And usually, when an employee emerges with bibingka to display on their shelves from their store room, it does not get to be displayed because customers already picked it up from the cart and pay for it at the cashier hahaha just like that, it's all gone. And another wave of customers then wait for more bibingka 😁

Location is very accessible since it's just along the highway.

Prices of different delicacies are okay. Some are affordable, some are reasonable.

Restrooms are...

Digos City’s most popular landmark. This place has been around for literally forever. It’s a tradition for us to stop by here whenever we’re heading south. The food at their restaurant is probably the best Filipino food you’ll find in the city. Not cheap, but still affordable. Before you leave, always pay a visit to their souvenir shop. There’s an endless assortment of snacks and treats. You’ll find something that you’ll like for sure. I recommend visiting at least once when you get the opportunity. It’s just by the highway and there’s endless parking, so it’s super easy to stop by.

I only did takeout of pasalubong due to time constraint for a flight out. A lot of choices of pasalubong/food items. Number 1 for me is the bibingka, freshly cooked and its hot. Biko is also commendable. The pasalubong shop is adjacent to the restaurant. Restaurant has more seating capacity. Lots of choices of foods and are visible thru a glass food racks. Given enough time, I would like to dine-in. Last resto dine was before pandemic, foods taste good as I can recall. Rest room has tissue and liquid soap, it’s clean.
