AMBIENCE It was a chill, rainy day and the ceiling fans guaranteed cooler air. Front portion of the restaurant looked like an old house while the back area seemed to be a cemented expansion. Considering this plus their newer dine-in area right across the street, getting seats shouldn't be a problem. They also have lots of parking (both sides). Tables were made of wood while chairs were monobloc. Pasalubong items are found near the entrance and till while the tight restrooms are outside near the parking. They need to check their inventory because some snacks already had ants in them. Based on observation, smoking can be done outside at the front.

FOOD A lot of Pinoy favorites are sold here but the rain made it perfect to finally try their Lomi for only P35.00. It was plenty, very hot, thick, and tasty with generous servings of toppings. Bigger size also available. I just didn't like the old chicharon they gave us, but I guess it's meant to be mixed in the lomi. A lot of customers were also ordering lomi.

SERVICE Pay as you order (turo-turo) style. Waiting time...

Lomi has a sweet taste to it, one of the worst Lomi-Batangas I've tasted. Guisado is super dry and was served without the soup. Gotong Batangas is disappointing as well - it was served with tons of white onion and was showered with black ground pepper. Kaleretang kambing is really salty - as if prepared for pulutan. Condiments section is unsanitary - it was filled with a lot of small flies. Eating utensils and most of their plates are cracked and needs immediate replacement.

If you're looking to eat lomi and goto at the same time you will have to exert additional effort since the restaurant has two branches (main and annex which is across the street only). We asked if it would be possible for them to get the lomi and guisado from the other restaurant (main) since we are already in the annex but they refused to and won't offer to as other restaurants would do. We ended up going to the main restaurant and get the lomi and guisado and went back to annex to get the goto which was not worth it at all.

The parking space is...

Food: big serving but not that delicious. Will make you full and good for sharing. Pancit were ordinary and needs more improvement. The chicharon bulaklak had parts were you can't swallow the food because it was too tough and chewy. There were times that we can bite into something hard in the batter. Service: long wait just for goto. My partner finished eating the food when the goto arrived Atmosphere: could have improved more. There were flies inside the resto

Not pet-friendly also

Probably one of the best Lomi Houses in Batangas. The food is seasoned so well that the savory flavor just embraces in your mouth. The price of the food is worth it. The design of the restaurant is very aesthetic and is inspired by a traditional Tagalog house although some changes could be improved. A solid 9.7/10
