We recently had the chance to dine at Amoma in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, and it was such a great experience. The food was absolutely amazing. The menu is huge but we noticed it could use a bit more variety, as some dishes like baked scallops weren’t available (which we were hoping to try). However, everything we tried was clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.
The place itself has this rustic, charming vibe that’s really relaxing, and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a meal. Adding to the ambiance was a live singer performing while customers dined, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was great too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of, though they stuck mostly to the basics.
The restaurant was clean and well-kept, though we didn’t check out the restrooms, so we can’t comment on those. For what you get, the prices were totally worth it. The portions were generous, and it felt like great value for the quality of the food. They accept cash and cards, but their card reader wasn’t working during our visit, so we had to pay cash.
Getting there was easy and parking wasn’t an issue. There were plenty of spots available. The wait time was reasonable with a slight delay here and there, but everything came out exactly as we ordered. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right amount of background noise. Not too quiet, not too loud.
Overall, we’d definitely go back to Amoma and recommend it to anyone in the area. It’s a great spot for delicious food, a chill vibe, and solid service...totally...

The ambiance is giving filipino ancestral home mixed with thai elements. The resto is very windy despite being in a warm town. If it’s still too hot for you and your company, they have a VIP room (air conditioned and has a consumable price of 5,000 pesos)
The foods are as delectable as they look 🤤. Totally worth every peso and very instagrammable. I highly recommend their sinigang na isda! Could not get enough of it.
The employees were also very nice and courteous, I have not seen a single employee who wasn’t smiling 😂
They have lots of koi, rabbits, doves, and goats. They also have a play area for the kids. They also accept any pets. Mine was very happy and distracted with her new...
