Despite giving Alberto’s another try, the overall experience remains underwhelming, particularly in terms of food quality. One hopes the establishment channels as much focus into elevating the culinary experience as it does into its social media presence.
Food: The menu inspires excitement—mojos, wings, and pizza—but unfortunately, the taste falls short of expectations. For the prices charged, the food does not offer value for money. Comparable dishes are available with better execution at nearby places like Golden Fields or, just an hour away, in Tuguegarao. While presentation may appeal to the eye, the palate is left wanting.
Service: Service was courteous and prompt. The staff made an effort, which is commendable.
Ambience: The decor is visually pleasing and offers plenty of Instagram-worthy angles. However, the space feels cramped and lacks cohesive design—more of a halo-halo mix of aesthetics. Additionally, having the restroom located outside is disappointing for a restaurant positioned in the premium price bracket.
Overall: Dining is about more than just food—it’s about creating memorable moments through the harmony of taste, ambiance, and service. While Alberto’s offers some visual appeal and polite service, the food—the core of the dining experience—has consistently failed to meet expectations.
Hoping to see the restaurant evolve and bring its culinary offerings up to par with its...

Alberto’s is a hidden gem — quite literally, as it’s easy to miss from the road unless you know exactly where to look. We arrived during a busy lunch service, and the kitchen kept its promise: our food was ready in 20 minutes, as advised.
The garden salad with ranch dressing was a standout. Fresh, vibrant, and unexpectedly memorable. Our mains — pizza, pasta, and steak — were first-class in flavor and portion. The only culinary blemish was the lukewarm gravy accompanying the steak.
Where things fell short was service. Despite the dining room’s energy, the staff felt disengaged. Our waiter missed parts of the order, and throughout the meal, we were left awkwardly signaling for attention while team members chatted amongst themselves. No manager appeared to be present, and the all-young staff lacked the attentiveness one would expect from a place serving food this good.
We had requested a birthday song with a cake, and while the staff complied, the timing left much to be desired. The table was still crowded with main courses, and no cutlery was provided — which unfortunately made for an awkward moment and a less-than-ideal photo opportunity.
With stronger service and leadership, Alberto’s could deliver an outstanding overall experience to match its...
Read moreFirst time visiting Bulanao. Heard about Alberto's on a Facebook post as it talks about the only place to get a certain style of pizza in Kalinga. The food was awesome. Everything was made from scratch and they try to source all or most of the ingredients locally. We got several dishes: Pizza with pineapple, meatlovers, Alberto's specialty pizza, chicken and mojos, and a pasta dish. The 18 inch pies were huge and my party couldn't finish all the pizzas we ordered. Definitely need to consider how much the whole party can chow and adjust the size of pizzas accordingly. A little pricey but Highly...
