A destination of its own, this buko halo spot is a place for relaxation and fulfilling that halo-halo craving. With nature as its backdrop, it's very chill. The buko halo itself is super good. Made with young coconut as a vessel, it's filled to the brim with halo-halo ingredients. What sets it apart from the competition is that it doesn't just use out of the bottle ingredients. They make their own sweetened banana, kamote, and langka. They put heart in their creation, topped with that compulsory ube ice cream and leche flan. Going to that young coconut as a vessel, once you're done with the halo-halo, you can scrape off coconut meat, so good. Oh, and they have pitchers of buko juice for free. You're really getting your money's worth!

This has improved so much from what I remember it to be in 2012, with widened spaces, more kubo and renovated comfort rooms. The buko-halo is priced at P120 with free buko juice. It tastes the same but with less sangkap. The serving is enough for one to finish in one seating. Aside from buko-halo, they also serve other tasty snacks like toasted muffin, tarts and chips. They also offer snack staples like Pringles, Sky Flakes, Oreo, Nagaraya, Chippy and Mang Juan. There are other joints that have opened within the highway area to compete with Apareja but it has makde its mark that it is still the go-to place upon entering or leaving the City of Koronadal.

I've visited this place so many times, and what I like during my last visit is thier new and clean comfort room. Whatsw the best in their BukoHalo is young coco and many ingredients added such as sweetened sweet potato and other sweet blend of cooked fruit and Leche plan.. They have a standard when purchasing young coco fruit. They only choose soft enough to use only with spoon. Overall, busog na busog ka talaga pag-alis mo 👍 What I dont like is coarse ice (not finely grinded). I suggest to finely grind the ice.

Apareja Buko Halo-Halo set the trend that was followed by its neighbors. It is the most popular stall in the strip of refreshment stores along the National Highway in Brgy. Saravia in the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, Philippines. Thanks to social media, Apareja has become a part of the bucketlist of most travellers to this part of the country.

Buko Halo-Halo is a popular Filipino refreshment which is mixture of sweetened fruits, ranging from 4 or 5 choices to as many as 12 different ingredients. These fruits are mixed with milk and shaved ice. Halo-halo literally translates as "mix-mix" because for one to enjoy eating, he has to mix all the ingredients.

To make it more special, all these sweetened fruits are served in a young coconut shell with its tender meat. On top of the heap is a scoop of ice cream.

Taste is relative so nobody can say who serves the best Buko Halo-Halo in the entire strip. But since Apareja started it all in this part of the city, then coming here would still...

My godfather who is a local based in GSC brought me here for merienda and istg, the halo-halo (albeit a lil pricey) is so good, the Ube ice cream that they put sorta tastes like Dan Eric's ube ice cream (which is one of my fav local brands) the toppings are generous too and i think they add coconut milk aside evap on their halo-halo.

plus points sila bec nothing goes to waste! the buko juice from the halo-halo will be served to your table as refreshments 🤣

the place is alfresco and some nipa hut tables can only be used to accommodate groups. Madami din mga motorista and drivers na nag-iistop over for snacks and cr breaks so its pretty crowded at all times, sadly walang bidet yung cr nila (more like mahina yung tubig when we went there) Also since the place is pretty near the coconut plantations as well as a deciduous forest sa likod, madami...
