Location: directly beside the road, can be easily spotted due to its big signage and large fixed windows. Near schools and residential areas. While it can cater to large groups, parking is quite limited. (4/5)
Exterior/Interiors: exterior is quite the common postmodern facade, would be great to have it architecturally inviting. Interiors were bland, might be trying to achieve contemporary & minimalist at the same time but definitely lacking the color scheme and with the present furniture design. Uses natural ventilation by opening-up the main door and some clerestory windows, but take note that opening the front door would be problematic due to the noise coming from the main road and dust. Not quite sure if the overall architectural layout would be a problem but a good resto/cafe would have a 30-70 kitchen-dining ratio respectively (could be the kitchen a little bit too small for the large dining area?). Wall paints are peeling off, ceiling boards have visible cracks, etc. Would be great to have music, 'chismis' from other tables can be easily heard 😅. Might just need replanning and a little retouch, they're lacking just 1 color palette greens (plants) might be it. (2.5/5)
Service: would expect a medium-expensive dining resto/cafes to have service counters at the front for customer service & queries, instead counters are straight placed at the back. Had to approach the counter for orders and didn't ask if they have a pay-first policy. (3.5/5)
Food: Only tried the truffle pasta and the Barako. Food is great, pasta is just right serving size, pasta is al dente, sauce is flowing and toppings is generous. Barako is barako. Best to mix the toppings with the pasta not straight-up eat the toppings, pasta will taste monotonous due to the creamy sauce. Haven't tried their other menu yet. (4.5/5)
Price: Price ranges from mid-expensive. Not all may afford and not sure about their target market, but they do have cheaper options mostly drinks amd desserts. (3.5/5)
Overall: Just right experience. I always pass-by this resto before (maybe years?) and I always hear 'expensive', they've survived throughout the years but I don't know much what they are lacking now but those were my observations. Might be still coming back for their other...
Read moreVisited on Father’s Day and the place was half full. We pre-ordered the seafood platter just so we can eat the moment we got there. However, we still waited more than an 45minutes and realised nothing was being served. We asked the ladies and they said it will take another 20-30 minutes. So ensure that when you eat here to pre-order your meals at least 48 hrs before you would like to eat.
The place lacked ventilation, it was very humid and it wasn’t conducive for having a great meal.
I brought my one year old with me and asked for a high chair which the waitress didnt know existed (it was literally on the corner). I looked at the high chair and it was FILTHY so i asked for any disinfectant to clean the surfaces and they said they didn’t have any. This makes me wonder what they use when they need to cleqn the tables and seats.
Anyway, i do not recommend Love...
Read moreNovember 9, 2022. We had dinner at this wonderful place. The interior design is really attractive and nice. Good place to relax and unwind with the family. The parking is alright. The comfort room is clean and the design of the washing area makes me think that the owner must be an architect. The staff are kind and approachable. Good service.
Just a note on ate girl who was sweeping that night. I get it that we, along with other guests, delay your cleaning time prior to closing; but it does not justify sweeping while eating. I might be a neat freak but I know some would agree with me. Especially for those, like myself, suffering from lung problem making me sensitive to dust particles.
Anyways, total...
