Dinner Delight at LU Riverfarm Seafood Restaurant I recently had an early dinner at LU Riverfarm Seafood Restaurant in Bacnotan, and it was a delightful experience! Opting for one of their set menus, I was treated to a fantastic spread of fresh seafood and grilled meats. The star of the show was definitely the seafood. The grilled tilapia and bangus (milkfish) were cooked to perfection, with a beautiful char on the outside and perfectly flaky flesh inside. The deep-fried calamari tempura was another winner - crispy on the exterior and tender on the inside. The grilled pork chop rounded out the set menu nicely, offering a savory option for meat lovers. The ambiance of the restaurant itself was a big plus. The rustic Filipino décor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the riverside location added a touch of serenity. The gentle flow of the river provided a calming backdrop to the meal. Overall, I highly recommend LU Riverfarm Seafood Restaurant to anyone visiting Bacnotan. The fresh seafood, delicious grilled options, and charming riverside setting make it a must-try! Here's a quick breakdown of the highlights: Fresh Seafood: The grilled fish and calamari were cooked perfectly, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. Set Menu: A convenient option offering a variety of dishes at a good value. Rustic Ambiance: The Filipino décor and riverside location created a relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for a delicious and scenic dining experience in Bacnotan, look no further than LU Riverfarm Seafood Restaurant!

Saw this place from a friend's IG post that made my mouth water. And yup it tastes better than it's already amazing looks! Food - gooooood. Service - gooooood. Atmosphere - gooooood. Best to go with daylight to bask in the glory of river nature. Fork out an extra 300 for the best floating dining experience. A great selection of food to choose from awaits - but since I was the only one in our group without any real health restrictions, our order was limited to the sinigang, I love LU platter (crabs + shrimp in butter not margarine + garlic) and seafood pinakbet. Fresh buko on the shells had a lot of coco water inside and the meat was spoon-tenderrific! A bit pricey but the portions AND TASTE make it worth the while. If you ever find yourself staying in LU or just passing through, be sure to set a decent amount of time to get your seafood fix on LU RiverFarm.

Highly recommended farm-to-table restaurant when visiting La Union! My family loved it here especially my parents because of the fresh seafood, vegetables, and the floating by the river dining experience. They have their own fish farm so you can be assured of freshly caught and cooked tilapia and bangus. Their menu items were reasonably priced and they got wide variety of food items to choose from. Staffs were courteous and accomodating. They also have pasalubong shop. FEEDBACK: i think the P270 fee that they charge extra for using the floating bamboo area is tooo much!! customers already pay for the food, the restaurant should have the area for free already... or they could just set a minimum order price to be able to use the floating bamboo for free

Spacious parking area. Rough road and little to no light on the way to the restaurant (entrance is to the right side of the highway when coming from San Juan town proper. Staff were accommodating to queries and request. Food was good. Sashimi was also available but sadly they ran out of wasabi when we dined. Fish were fresh with a little bit of sweetness. Chicken was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Place was not crowded because we came at night, not much to see unless it's daytime. Fishing can be done during the day. Lots of cats but they didn't attempt to bother us when we were dining.

The ambience is superb! HOWEVER, the food is basic. Nothing special about it. The food from the small eatery is even better. Their service is one of the worst we have experienced. Waiting time is tooooo long. When the main dishes arrived, the servers forgot to bring us plates, spoons, and forks. We reminded them, but we waited again for toooooo long. We ended up going to the kitchen and getting them. Then, the bill... Waiting time is toooooo long again. In fact, there was more waiting time than the time we enjoyed our food. 🤣🤣🤣 Then, the server was not even accommodating 🤣🤣🤣

A good place to enjoy a scrumptious lunch with a view of native fish in an enclosure just beside your own floating cottage. Floating cottages have an additional charge (non-consumable) as compared to the regular seating on the river bank where as group can enjoy a part of the river's view. The enclosures are free view. The only difference is that, you get to be seated in a native floating cottage. It features an OTOP (One Town, One Product) hub that showcases locally crafted products - totes, baskets and ornaments.
