Title: Scam Alert ā Jollibee Philippines Misleads Customers with Fake Zero-Sugar Drink Options
Iām genuinely angry and disappointed with Jollibee in the Philippines. For a company of this size, itās shocking how they consistently fail to offer basic sugar-free drink options like Coca-Cola Zero or Pepsi Max ā despite claiming to.
On the drink machines and menu boards, they advertise zero-sugar variants. But every time I ask, itās the same response: "Sorry, we donāt have that." Not once in years of visiting different locations across the country have I been able to get a proper sugar-free soda. Nothing. No Coke Zero, no Pepsi Max, not even basic sparkling water. Absolutely no sugar-free option. This is unacceptable in 2025.
To make it worse, they still charge you the full price and act like it's normal. This isnāt just poor service ā itās a scam. You advertise something, you charge for it, but you donāt deliver it. Thatās fraud, plain and simple.
Why does this happen? Because most Filipinos consume insane amounts of sugar ā so stores donāt bother connecting the zero-sugar syrups. They just disconnect it from the machines to save costs, because hardly anyone orders it. But that doesnāt justify deceiving customers who do care about health. Some people (like me) are diabetic or simply want to avoid sugar. You can't just ignore that.
This isnāt just laziness, itās deliberate neglect and false advertising. If you donāt offer sugar-free drinks, then stop putting them on the menu. Stop lying.
Until Jollibee fixes this across the country, Iāll continue warning others. If youāre trying to avoid sugar ā donāt expect honesty or options from Jollibee...

The Jollibee branch in Tubod, Lanao offers the same beloved menu that has made the chain a household name across the Philippines. From their crispy Chickenjoy to their sweet Jolly Spaghetti, you can expect the same quality and flavor as any other branch.
What sets this location apart is its drive-thru service, which adds a level of convenience, especially for travelers or those in a rush. My visit was limited to the drive-thru due to time constraints, and the process was efficient and smoothāa definite plus for busy customers.
However, the parking area is notably small, accommodating only about six four-wheeled vehicles. This can be a challenge for dine-in customers, especially during peak hours. On the brighter side, the branch accepts both credit and debit card payments, a modern convenience that not all fast-food chains in the area consistently offer.
While I didnāt get a chance to explore the dine-in experience or take photos due to our quick stop, the drive-thru and payment options make this branch a practical choice for those passing through Tubod. Still, it would benefit from an expanded parking lot to better serve...
