I just ordered coffee - iced americano to be specific. Just ok - not bad, but nothing special.

Has a great view.

Gave a low score on service due to the following: I had to approach a staff to ask how to order food before one of them approached us to take our order. I expect more customer-centric staff to take the initiative to approach seated customers to ask them what they will be having. I ordered americano which the menu stated is priced at Php85. The staff who took my order asked whether I would like my americano iced, and I said yes considering that it was a hot day. When I was paying, I was informed that the americano is Php110, and it was because I ordered it with ice. The lack of pricing transparency is irritating. The menu should have indicated a higher price if the coffee is iced. Alternatively, the staff should have informed me of the higher price, especially as it was the staff who gave the suggestion to have my coffee iced. The staff who received my payment did not even seem bothered by the lack of pricing transparency. I paid nonetheless to end the conversation. Iced americano priced at Php110 is not absurdly expensive; what's irritating is that this fact was not disclosed prior to...

The service was friendly although very slow despite not being busy, and things like keeping tables tidy and clean for new guests, and clean toilets with loo roll would be much improved, as it appears to be a slightly more upmarket place. The views are amazing, set high atop a hill , breathtaking panoramic view over the seas across to Cebu and Negros. It was easy to find the location, as the roads were well paved. Google just makes the entrance incorrectly. There is a paved driveway entry, not a dirt road, to pull up and park. The food was delicious, and the prices reasonable. They had ice cold red horse 500 ml for 80 pesos. We were really pleased about that. And the vegetarian kare kare was a reasonable price for the generous portion. The cheesecake was tasty too, but maybe not as fresh as the other things we tried. It’s a coffee, cafe and early dinner place to get food and drinks., and a lovely place to...

The view is great. The food is mediocre (not bad, but not impressive). The staff are not attentive at all, and are difficult to even get their attention to bring the bill (we gave up and went to pay it directly). There were so many dogs sitting around the tables, begging for food (5 or 6). They were not well taken care of, and had the typical skin diseases you see on the stray island dogs. So these were not pets, and the staff did nothing to try to get them away from the restaurant and the guests. There was garbage on the ground, as the wind has obviously blown it off a table, and the staff never attempted to clean any of it up. When going to the gift shop on our way out, the staff member acted annoyed when my asked a couple of questions about the products, and couldn't even be bothered to look up from his cell phone.

I DO NOT recommend this place. I've never seen such lazy employees with such...

The excellent food here is matched by the stunning vistas of this restaurant on a high ground that affords a view of Negros, Cebu and Siquijor (the Triad being meant by the name of this establishment). Apparently, construction is still ongoing and rightly so, given the robust turnout of clientele that includes foreigners. Perhaps the management will consider accommodation for an evening stay here like a little campground or some rooms to maximize the experience. I have no misgivings about the millions of taxpayers' money being spent to provide a well-paved road for this place for indeed it is potentially a sustainable magnet for tourists whom Siquijor badly needs. At any rate, there are a few sections of this road with a gradient that raise my hackles, considering that a Siquijornon tricycle with more than two passengers may not be able to surmount but a cyclist who thrive on daring-do will surely relish.

We had a set meal prepared for us by the restaurant and our travel agent for our day tour in Syquijor. Huge portions and the food was good. Of all the things served to us we liked the Lumpiang Shanghai the best. Their fruit shakes are a must order. We also bought some pastries from their bakeshop. They were just ok. We got the rainbow otap, tarts, lengua de Gato and chocolate chip cookies. Not too sweet but also it tasted more like panaderia kind of goodies. We enjoyed our lunch there, the staff were all attentive and polite. The view is amazing too. Edit: The tarts are super delicious! Let me correct myself. I only got to taste them now since we bought a lot. If ever you're in their bakeshop, get those! If you like Dewberry, these would be just like that but non-processed and freshly baked.
