Tagaytay breakfast: Very good ambience with a pricey menu
Let me get this off from start, I do not hate this Bag of Beans branch, but if you are looking for a breakfast spot in Tagaytay, or near Tagaytay, you are better off elsewhere.
Let’s start with the menu; they have few all-day breakfast items which, honestly, not bad at all, but the prices do not justify the taste of their meal. It’s close to Php600 for one food item, and in all honesty, they were not satisfying to the palate. The taste was okay, and that’s about it. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? Nope, cause if you’re gonna price your food like that, you better deliver the damn taste we are craving for. In other words, the breakfast food items here were just — meh (okay).
The ambience The good thing about this branch is the ambience. I cannot say anything bad about the place, cause damn, it really felt like I’m one of those socialites eating an overpriced meal — well, it kinda felt like that — but the point is, the place looks damn good.
The service Nothing too shabby. It’s your typical fine dining experience. The food came straight off the kitchen faster than average serving time. The waiters and waitresses were attentive. It’s good.
Parking They have a good amount of space available for around 15 vehicles or more.
The price Of course, the price — well, let’s just say you’re paying for the good ambience, good service and overall good dining experience , so you will definitely pay a premium on this branch.
Overall, it was an okay breakfast dining experience.
Note: I did not take photos of other food...

We wanted some coffee and desert. The fam got their preferred drink but i got what i always order. Which was their house blend. Their house blend, although one of their cheaper drinks, is the strongest. Comes with milk and sachets of sugar of your preference. Can be white, brown or stevia.
We got three cakes. Salted choco caramel, red velvet, and new york cheesecake. Everyone was able to get a bite. Most of the fam liked the salted caramel. Not too sweet but was a great pair with coffee. The new york cheesecake wasn't too sweet either. Had a hint of lime which gave it a refreshing twist. Red velvet grew on me. It also had a hint of sourness which was nice.
The staff was also accomodating. We got our orders pretty quick. Also, when we about to pay the bill, the server noticed one of the fam was elderly and immediately asked if we had any discounts. That's a nice plus in service.
Out of the three branches i know from Tagaytay, i think this place has the best view. Their food is as good as i...
