Mori Restaurant Cafe is a beautiful restaurant situated at Tagaytay Nasugbu Highway near the welcome to Nasugbu arc. The Restaurant is a premiere looking restaurant with beautiful indoor interior filled with ceiling treatment like a in a wedding paired with the mountainous views of the Taal and Batangas region truly it is one magnificent views to behold.
There are plenty of parking spaces for Mori Restaurant customers as the lot beside is also for Mori customers. The rest rooms are well lit and clean. The entry way and reception is well planned out and warmly receives customers. There is a cool claw machine to entertain guests while waiting for the food to arrive.
The beautiful dining hall is located at the second floor with the beautiful veranda and views of the taal. Every detail lf the restaurants and ceoling is worth mention because it truly brings out the beauty and the theme of the restaurant.
The service is great and the efforts of our servers are not taken for granted. We truly appreciate the great service provided to us by the service crew as well as the crew that cooked our food.
The food here at Mori is great. The beef caldereta might have been a tad sweet but savory and filled with taste none the less. The Sinigang na Pompano is definitely worth every minute of waiting. The oreo cheesecake is great and not sweet. The stuffed grilled squid is not burnt nor charred and cooked to perfection. juicy but not rubbery and its fragrant and pairs well with rice.
Overall, our dining experience here at Mori is unexpectedly great. International level of dining experience is served here and the whole experience together with the ambience makes for happy customers and will definitely come...

Food: Bagnet Kare-kare dry pork it was hard to chew and swallow. Thick sauce, good portion of vegetables. Pork Tenders: vegetables overcooked and too oily. Pork was blant all I can taste was the burnt grilled taste. The cut used was liempo instead of a thicker slab of pork chop which is normally used on this kind of dish.
You would think they are at par with Bag of Beans or the Hillbarn’s food because of the ambiance and the prices of each food on the menu. I was really hopeful it’ll be good. They have to revisit the kind of cut to use on their dish and the quality of food they make in that kitchen.
Planning the interior and the ambiance is good but ultimately people would like to eat good hearty food.
All in all I can say this is an overglorified overpriced canteen I will not recommend this with my friends, base on the food we ate. Ambiance and view is something widely available in Tagaytay with better food quality.
We hope this feedback will reach the right people for...
Read moreLast August 3, my dad and I celebrated our birthdays with a simple yet memorable dinner at Mori Restaurant. We were delighted by the delicious food and the charming ambiance, which set the perfect tone for our special evening. However, what truly made the celebration unforgettable was the thoughtful surprise orchestrated by the restaurant's owner, Mr. Meck Albento. He went out of his way to ensure that my dad would be genuinely surprised, and then came the moment— a surprise cake! As the birthday song began to play, the staff gathered around our table, adding a festive touch to the occasion.
The food was not only superb in taste but also reasonably priced, making the experience even more enjoyable. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff displaying warmth and attentiveness throughout our visit. We owe a big thanks to Mr. Meck for his generosity in making our dinner so special and memorable. He is truly one of a kind, and we look forward to returning to Mori Restaurant again in...
