Tired and weary vacationers from Manila and New York, we were a family of 12 who arrived at Liliw Laguna late on a Sunday in November. After settling down at our lodgings we set off to Chef Mau. My aunts have been there before and promised the food was really good. Not only were they closed, but they also were having a big private family party for two birthday celebrants. The hosts, Chef Mau, brothers and sisters, insisted we join them as their guests: set out a glorious feast from their own buffet of family tried and tested recipes. They entertained us with stories of family and food as one entree followed after another, and then dessert!!! I would extremely recommend the food here, grabe inflation ngayon pero most of the dishes plays around 100 pesos and its good for 2 and its plated like a proffessional chef would serve their dish!
