Well, I ordered the Overload Double Toppings. True to its name, it had a lot od toppings: Lumpia Shangai, Sausage (sliced), boiled egg (sliced), meatballs, and a load of chicharon!
The meal was served hot with a side of soy sauce with onion and chili. The noodle was at right firmness to me, not soggy, but not really hard - you can say it's almost chewable. The soup was viscous (as it should). Flavor was mild - maybe that's why locals pour the soy sauce you prepared earlier to the soup.
In terms of size, It was A LOT. I managed to eat 80% of it, but I was too full. Worth the money though! Around 230 pesos for a bowl.
Their place also has a split ambience - one is al fresco with light-bulbs hanging from above like a gazebo. The other half was indoor, doesn't have AC thought. They have parking for 3 small 5-seater cars. Location is right by the highway.
Overall: Food - 9/10 Place - 8/10 Price -...
Read moreA good and affordable stopover lunch!
We were hungry from driving from Manila and thought we would never be able to find a place to stop and have a quick and affordable lunch.
We noticed this al fresco canteen style eatery. It's cute and clean and really affordable.
We ordered several items and ended up paying less than 400 for 3 people.
We liked their lomi very much and it can be shared by 2 to 3 people. My friend said the beef tapa was good, too. The deep fried kangkong wasn't really great, but it was fine for 5 pesos each.
They had softdrink and rice and 2 other dish and it cost us only P400.
The servers were alert and very helpful, too.
If you want home cooked meals that are really affordable to have in a simple and clean eatery, this...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant due to its prime location and inviting ambience, but unfortunately, the experience fell short.
Since it was early lunch hours, there were just a few customers (about 2 other small groups) but 2 simple orders took more than an hour to be served! When we finally followed up the order, to our surprise, they haven't even started preparing on it. We were about to let it go but the staffs were even lackluster and unapologetic on what happend and seems more interested on chatting with each other.
Such a shame that a potentially good restaurant is marred by subpar...
