LOCATION: 5/5 It’s located on a by-pass road, I think it is nice for travellers to have such a chill place to eat and stretch their legs on
FACILITY: 4/5 The facility is very good, aesthetically pleasing. It has a very chill vibe the only problem is the toilet, there is no in-house toilet they share with the gasoline’s public toilet which does not line up with the ambiance of the cafe
FOOD: 3/5Among the food we ordered I only get to try the coffee, carbonara, pesto, chicken wrap, Munich Lager
The americano and Cafe latte is TO DIE FOR! It is amazing!
The pesto is a must-try! It is very tasty and generous on the pesto sauce
The Munich lager is authetic
The chicken wrap and carbonara you can skip on the menu both of it is bland.
It’s not that it is not good but it LACKS SO MUCH ON TASTE.
We asked for salt and pepper and some parmesan But the parmesan cheese they gace is stale, the taste is very bad because it is old, the supposed to be bacon on the carbonara is just diced pork, it is not cured pork or anything it is just an ordinary pork, the cut can pass for “Menudo” 😅 They gave salt and pepper mixed together on a ramekin.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: 2/5 They need so much improvement when it comes to cystomer service, they were not rude but they where not nice. The cashier is very cold and borderline rude, ok I get it we where a large group and we came to the counter even if all of us were not yet ready to order, we were a bit all over the place 😅 but still I didn’t see a smile on any of the crew, (do not use the mask as an excuse please people can tell if you are smiling or not)
The crew never ask if our order is for dine in or take out, and they ended up opening the bottle Munich lager that we intended to bring home
The extra condiments that we asked for took a long time to come out.
All in all if we are from the area, I would love to come back for the coffee and the ambiance but hopefully with warmer...
Read moreWe came by around 7-8pm. You have to go inside to place your order on the till, there's a menu near the cashier so while waiting u can choose whichever you fancy. We went for pizza to share, a chicken wrap, a slice of sans rival cake and coffee. Pizzas are freshly baked but I think I prefer SNR pizza still. The dough was soft but theres a chewy texture to it. I like the chicken wrap as it has flavours but it was really wrapped. The chicken pieces and greens was sitting on a tortilla wrap, it was wrapped at all. The sans rival cake was 'meh', u might like a fridge cake better so it wasn't worth the 125php a slice. Coffee? It was brewed coffee however I prefer it was put in a proper coffee cups, those big rounded rims with a saucer. Those cups was skinny- small, it's probably a tall 200 ml see through cups. Indeed you'd like to see your coffee and cream separating but I rather have my gut satisfied than my eyes full. I like the surroundings at the café. The customers seems to be someone who has money to spare. There was a small sort of meeting going on, so it's a typical café u can go to if you want a quiet place to chat, have small meetings and have food. If you are on a budget, it's not your place. If u fancy a definitely overpriced coffee, try this place. Oh and, don't bother with the butterscotch coffee, there isn't any butterscotch flavour to it, not worth the 125php, nope. Service was good though, you don't have to wait too long. They serve it...
Read moreI had a chance to try this place on a trip to Lucena. They have an industrial theme to the Café with exposed steel beams and large window panes all over. This gives the place a very open and airy vibe. With a small garden in front of the store, it's very relaxing and inviting. The food is another story. I had the Boneless Chicken Barbecue, it was very dry and lacks any taste. The only taste came from the BBQ sauce that was on top of it. Prices for me is a bit on the high side, based on the quality of the food and the size of serving. They seem to have a wide variety of beers available, it may be better to have drinks here...
