Il Gatto Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Luzon

I really hate to do this but I guess I can start off with the good.

The deco and location was quite nice, instagrammable? Maybe. The cafe was quite quant and can probably seat 20 people max. Good enough for a small get together or a birthday party.

The drinks were quite nice. I recommend the berry yogurt smoothie, it's quite delicious as well as the matcha smoothie. That sums up the good.

The bad? Well....I think the menu needs to be more focused. How focused? If you're gonna be a cafe you should probably stick to cafe like items. The "Pad Thai" wasn't very Pad Thai. It was more like a peanut butter noodle. The peanut sauce overpowered everything....real pad thai should have sprouts, red vinegar and no carrots.

What's more the ingredients seem to be store bought stuff. Like the hamburger I had, the spaghetti as well as the lasagna seemed to have store bought cheese. There wasn't much of a wow factor.

Back to the menu though, for a cafe they also had ramen which is quite unusual. The broth was a bit salty.

I really want them to succeed honestly. If they could adjust the menu, maybe turn on some music while guests we're dining (we made our own entertainment when we were there lol) it would be awesome.

But for now I can't really...

Where will I start?

I will enjoy writing this review because our day at Il Gatto Garden Café was so enjoyable it is a pleasure to recount it. The venue is unique, a stunning day time view of the field through uninterrupted glass, comfortable seating and ambient lighting make it an absolute 5/5.

Our food was impeccable, oven-baked scallops to start followed by wonderfully fresh and well seasoned spicy chorizo and seafood pasta then juicy meat platter followed by a tasty and easy to eat iced-cream based sansrival and ferrero flavored dessert. Heaven. I will just add an extra quick comment on the scallops, I hope that they pair this with red wine to make the dining experience better.

The service also an absolute joy, well organised, well timed and formal but warm. The food was delivered to the table in the correct order and a timely manner. The staff have a pleasant livery which adds to the fine dine experience.

Definitely worth a try. If you are still looking for a great place to dine in, have photoshoot, ir simply to chill-out, this is really the perfect place for you. Again this one deserves byaheniCoya's...
