My recent visit to Isangwow Sea by the Cloud in Sagada was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the breathtaking landscape, this charming cafe is hard to miss, thanks to its unique upside-down house design that adds an element of whimsy to your experience.

We arrived bright and early at 5 AM, eagerly anticipating the sunrise. The ample roadside parking made it convenient for us to settle in for the morning. As we sipped our coffee, we were treated to a stunning display as the sun gradually emerged from the horizon, casting a warm glow over the mountains while we enjoyed delectable dishes like milkfish and tapa.

If you’re looking for a spot in Sagada to catch the sunrise without the need for an arduous hike, Isangwow Sea by the Cloud is the perfect place. Just be sure to arrive early so you can secure the best spot to take in the view. The scenery alone is worth it, although the food was a delightful bonus.

Keep in mind that there is a requirement to purchase a meal in order to sit in the dining area with the best views, but I can assure you the experience makes it worthwhile. Overall, I came primarily for the stunning vistas, and the food only enhanced an already incredible experience. First off, though the house looks inverted, it only for aesthetics. The inside looks on the normal side.

On to other things.

The place can get crowded during peak seasons, like weekends and holidays l, especially in the morning because of the great sunrise and sea of clouds experience. Better come here on a regular weekday... which we did.

It goes without saying that parking is bad during lean times. They don't have store parking, but rather you park along the side street... which can be annoying as it disturbs traffic flow. What more is that the cafe is located in between 2 road curves... so incoming cars gets a surprise if they don't know any better haha!

All these aside, once you get a seat and we're able to order food... then all is well. They have good food and I especially like their etag sandwich. Reasonably priced and good serving.

Overall, I enjoyed my time here... good food, good atmosphere and great view. Highly recommended as long as you know what you're getting into......
