Amante Ribs and Steaks — Restaurant in Mabalacat

My husband and I celebrated the Father's Day this year in this restaurant. We availed their promo 699php unlimited roast beef, back ribs, rice, soup, salad, and pasta. We were delighted with the high quality of food. Great taste and very tender.

Kaya lang, the customer service was disappointing. And because of that, we are not thinking of coming back to this restaurant.

We were asked to sit at the very far corner of the restaurant, next to where the counter was. There was no server to get our orders. I had to pull one of the women with a coat on to order. She's probably one of the managers. We asked for a high chair for our baby boy, but after an hour, walang dumating so my husband saw it on the other corner of the resto. Kung hindi pa siya nakitang binuhat niya, hindi pa siya tutulungan ng isang waiter. We wanted a refill of the food, but another woman wearing a coat replied in an impatient tone of voice even though she saw that there was a fly on my husband's plate. We waited for another 30-40min but to no avail, the food wasn't coming. Eto pa, lumabas pa ang isang server pinapatay lahat ng langaw. Restaurant ba to or carinderia? Nakakawalang gana.

My husband spoke to a female server, tumatawa pa parang nakakainsulto. Ang yabang pang ipakilala na Operations Manager daw nakausap ko. I don't care about that!

When the food came, wala na kaming gana. It really ruined our appetites. Alam mo yung nakikita ka na nga nila na you are ready to order, you are asking for a refill kasi nga unli, you are asking for a high chair, dinadaanan ka lang tapos puro pa sabi "Wait lang."

Pero pagdating sa bill out, ang bilis kumilos.

I didn't expect this poor customer service. It was also my Japanese husband's first time eating at this restaurant and he told me na he's just chugging down the food kase sayang ang binayad namin. We also just skipped the dessert and other menu included sa promo. At nakakasira ng mood since this is my husband's first official Father's day since we had our son after struggling to get pregnant for 4 years.

Kahit masarap ang food niyo, if you're treating us like some trash, nevermind. Just like you, we are also business owners at age 25 and we never ever treat our clients the way you guys did. Unprofessional and...

Leo accepted my reservation for Mother's Day for 4 pax. Upon arrival at Amante by 5:15 p.m., we were informed that we had no reservations, and that really made me feel so bad! I had to prove I made a reservation. After all the hassle, we were still seated since there were at least 4 tables left.

Great food was served, and among my favourites were Crabmeat Samosa, Back Ribs, Salted Egg Shrimp, Roast Beef, Baked Oysters, Baked Garlic scallops, and Seafood Chowder.

We were ready to have our dessert-Mango Oreo Float, but all frontliners said it's not available. I asked for the manager to confirm if it was true. She said they were already preparing it.

The manager, who happens to be the owner and receptionist, apologised again since the front liners were not updated that Mango Oreo Float shall be ready to be served in just a few minutes.

In spite of all the hassle, overall experience was great since the owner herself took immediate action. She was calm and smiled pleasantly the whole time, as she apologised for the misunderstandings and neglect on their part.

Been there last night and it was really a great experience for me. The food was so great as well as the place. It has a good ambience. We went there for a dinner on a friday and they were fully booked. So, we have to wait for those who will pay their bills out. We should made our reservation ahead of time 😊 The staff were so nice and kind. They made sure that we will be having a great time eating there 😊 I love their menu every friday since they serve seafoods, roast beef😂 and different kind of drinks (juices).
