Prepare to be mesmerized by the delightful offerings of Café Dia, nestled in the heart of Clark, Pampanga. My recent visit to this charming café left me speechless as I savored the heavenly combination of flavors that graced my taste buds. Let me take you on a journey through the enchanting ice sea salt latte, the indulgent snicker frappe, and the mouthwatering duo of ube cake and choco fudge cake.
Firstly, let's talk about the ice sea salt latteâa true masterpiece in a glass. As the coolness of the ice gently mingled with the rich espresso, a hint of sea salt danced on my tongue, creating a symphony of contrasting flavors. The expertly balanced sweetness and subtle saltiness made this beverage an extraordinary treat for my senses. With each sip, I was transported to a world of pure bliss, as the flavors harmoniously danced on my palate. The snicker frappe is an absolute must-try for anyone seeking a heavenly indulgence.
No visit to Café Dia would be complete without experiencing their exquisite cakes. The ube cake, a Filipino classic, took center stage with its vibrant purple hue and irresistible aroma. Layers of moist, purple yam-infused cake were expertly stacked and enveloped in a velvety ube frosting. Each forkful revealed a perfect balance of sweetness, ensuring a delightful experience with every bite. The ube cake at Café Dia is a true testament to the rich culinary heritage of the Philippines.
But the indulgence didn't end thereâthe choco fudge cake awaited me with its irresistible allure. This chocolate lover's dream boasted a dense and fudgy texture that melted in my mouth. The intense cocoa flavor combined with a velvety smooth frosting created a sensational combination. The choco fudge cake at CafĂ© Dia is a testament to their dedication to using premium ingredients and creating desserts that leave a lasting impression.

Read moreWe decided to have a quick brunch at Cafe Dia Clark last Sunday. We were a group of five and we arrived at around 9 am. It was a clear and crisp morning, I can still remember. There's a small park in front of Cafe Dia that you can walk on to and take a breather after a long ride.
There was plenty of parking space for motorcycles and cars, and the place wasn't that packed when we arrived.
I was surprised that they only have three rice meals on their menu, namely tapsilog, longsilog, and what they call a "Dia Breakfast", the most expensive is the latter.
My friends and I ordered the tapa and the longganisa meal and some coffee. The drinks we ordered were served almost immediately. Kudos to them. But our issue with their service started when they failed to serve my friend's order and they had to validate our orders several times during the process. It took almost an hour for the last order to get served.
Their food was good. Their coffee tastes too sweet for my liking but it's not that bad. Their menu is not that expensive, expect to spend around 500 to 600 pesos per person if you will order one meal and one of their drinks. The staff were accommodating and always wore their smiles whenever they approached and served us.
Except for the fact that we waited for almost an hour for one tapa meal, we somewhat had a good experience dining at Cafe Dia. Was there something special on their menu? I think not. Is it worth dining again here? I don't think so as they offer basic meals, coffees, and pastries.
For me...
Read moreThis is a self service Cafe. With indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. You pay and order at the counter, youâll have take a number and they will deliver your order at your table. Youâll have to get your water and disposable utensils yourself, there is a dedicated spot for that. Thinking about how much waste this is, with all this disposable utensils. I am really concerned of the amount of waste that theyâll have, knowing the insane amount of people going on this cafe. Personally, I donât like eating or drinking on disposable utensils.
Anyway, I ordered bunch of hot and cold beverages. I ordered the spinach pizza, Caesar salad and Nachos. It was okay, nothing Special.
Now for the size of this place. It was Huge, with a an ample roam around area for the kids to run and have fun. Id say, roam around since this is no playground.
Now comes a problem for me, I hate that big cafe such as this has only 1 toilet for ladies and 1 toilet for gents. Yes a bit aesthetically pleasing but with all the facade, toilet is very dirty with leaking pipes in your head. You wondered where the leak is coming from with droplets of liquid falling on your head while seating in the toilet. Long lines to get to toilet, everyone is freaking to go. No one bother to check toilets if itâs clean or no. Yikes for me.
I might come back again or not I donât know. But this would not be my go to Cafe in Clark. I think itâs kinda overrated. Overhyped by...
