My first-time experience here was actually great. The second time, I even had a small talk with the cashier about toppings--I forgot her name was but she actually gave me a tip that moving forward, if I wanted to have caramel syrup around the cup and an extra caramel drizzle on top I should just request and mention "Caramel On The Wall." I was glad and excited about what she shared because I told her that I had no idea there's such a thing. She even assured me about this one just to make sure.
The third time I went here, I was excited to use the term the lady told me upon odering. When I received my order, I was quite confused as they did not put any caramel on the side of the cup nor any extra caramel drizzle on top. I shrugged it off and let it slide as i thought i may have not made it clear upon ordering given that it was my first time using the term "Caramel On The Wall" that was suggested to me by the lady.
The fourth time I went here, same thing happened. No extra syrup or what. I let it slide as I was in a hurry.
The fifth time which was a few hours ago, I decided to just explain how i usually do it before. Upon receiving, I noticed that they didn't put any caramel syrup on the sides despite requesting for one. This time, I tried to ask for clarification if the "caramel on the wall" was just caramel syrup on the top or was is caramel on the sides of the cup. The guy who handle this one brushed it off by just saying they would just add caramel syrup. I asked to clarify so the next time i order i know what I to say. A guy named "John" was the last point of touch on the drink and I came to ask him--but another guy intervene.
This guy never answered my question and intentionally added an aggressive amount of caramel syrup just to shoved it at my face in front of a lot of people, despite declining their offer because I was only there to ask for clarification. Of course i felt disrespected by this action because not only did he discarded my concern, he even made such a petty move. As someone who works for customer service myself--this is not how i expect to be treated/assisted.
If you feel like you did a mistake on an order (which we all are bound to do) then take ownership & accountability, address the situation, apologize, and move forward.
People might say it's not a big deal and it's just "syrup" but that literally is the point. It's JUST a syrup in the first place so why is it so difficult so execute the request properly?
If adding syrup takes a lot of energy and is such a big deal with you guys, acting like you're running out of Caramel. Then just don't put it on available. Parang ang bigat pa kasi sa part niyo na mag add ng caramel syrup. What does it take from you guys if you add something so little, makakapag-pasaya pa kayo ng customer. I assume you're getting paid correctly naman? I assume it's not your personal money that they use to buy ingredients/products to use para sa brand. So what does this take from you?
A lot of different branch naman they make the order correctly, and YOU guys initially did make the order right the first time. So what's the problem now?
