Freshly cooked food. Needs more parking spaces for the customers. Restaurant is "open style" with inadequate walls exposing diners to the soot, humidity, dust, flies and natural elements akin to a street side eatery. In a most simplest description would be - a supersized "turo-turo" but with a price list at par with that of most fast food restaurants. The restaurant is popular among early morning bike riders and joggers for their LTB (lugaw, tokwa at baboy), pansit and mami. If you're a patron of non-chalant eateries and wouldnt mind constant hovering of flies whenever you dine; and some extra cash to pay for the ambience and exuberant food price....you'll find this place a Mekkah of sorts. Otherwise, you and your family or friends would be better off in an environmentally controlled comfort of a mall or a fast food restaurant.

UPDATE: There were renovations to "facelift" the facade and floorings. Effectively elliminating what very liitle space for parking space on the front. The renovation has adequately provided more natural lighting inside the dining area, inviting; not only more dust and soot but also all sorts of flying and crawling insects that competes with the patrons eating inside. Additional tables were added to accomodate more seating patrons. Prices are still extravagant and pricey. I just cant believe how this place remains a magnet for people who have to put up with high priced food and a dining experience that is next...

Citang's Eatery is a must-visit for balik-bayans looking to bring home authentic Filipino pasalubong to their families abroad. Their selection of kakanins is unbeatable—delicious, traditional, and incredibly popular. From suman to sapin-sapin, every bite delivers that nostalgic flavor of home that so many crave. It's no wonder their products are highly sought-after by those returning overseas. The only downside is the parking, which can be a bit challenging, especially during peak times. Nevertheless, the quality and taste of Citang's delicacies more than make up for it, making the trip...

First time i'm visit this place, and it's all good. The service they provide is very good, the food they serve is also very good. Though it's not air conditioned, they have electric fans for proper ventilation. This place is a must to visit because if you are tired of lining up in an expensive restaurant, this one is very cheap and they serve pinoy food. if you will know the story of how they cook their food or how they got got their food, you'll be inspired to patronize...

Went here around 3pm on a Sunday, at this hour, the pancit is not available anymore and so we had to settle for lugaw and goto which were yummy nevertheless. We went here for our dessert faves, suman, kutsinta, and other colorful rice cakes, all of which ended up running out of stock once we went back to buy more after eating there. The dining area is cool enough as there were windows everywhere. Will definitely come back for the dessert and pancit!

We're from Antipolo and we set a date to visit this place. Kakanin is so awesome and great taste. No wonder that many people go here for this native food. I really like the lugaw with tokwat baboy. The pork is quite crunchy and has a super nice taste. Definitely will be back and highly recommended. Not to mention the staff are so nice.
