My family and I are on our way to Sablayan from Abra de Ilog. It’s our first time in Mindoro. We’re looking for a place to chill and found this place. Good location since it’s in a Petron station. Milktea was good. Looking from the menu, I find it significantly pricey so I just ordered a medium size wintermelon, which 85 PHP My mom ordered something w brown sugar. I didn’t check the price. During pay time, the lady told us that it’s about 310 PHP, I was shocked and so I checked and was told that my mom’s drink was 140 PHP. I don’t think it was a reasonable price in a local town in a province. It’s the same price with Starbucks, and I had milktea in many places in the past and this one is the most expensive yet. Good that my mom has a senior citizen ID so she can get a discount, unfortunately, the lady on the counter said she already punched in the bill. I don’t know of Im being unreasonable, or being shocked by the price because, in terms of value for money, it definitely doesn’t have that much. We had lunch at Abra de Ilog for 120 PHP for three of us and we had three dishes, and that is only an equivalent of one freaking milktea. Im sad. The place is ok, but man, tell me how that price can be reasonable for the locals who are buying?
