Candiez Café — Restaurant in Mandaue

The first time I got to hear about this Christian Café was from my blogger friends last year. And with them who keeps on talking about how good the food in this café was, my curiosity was on its highest level already upon coming here. Haha. So here we go. We actually got to try their cucumber juice upon coming here. It was a sunny weather back then so the cucumber juice was a perfect refreshment! Came here with my friends and we got to try the bests of the best in Candiez.

I would say that everything that we had was a good deal! From breakfast options, up to the pastas and some desserts! But for me, if you were to ask me what was my favorite. I would go with their selection of pasta! Their pinoy spaghetti was so good! It made me feel at home!! And the carbonara? Omg, I would give it 11/10. It’s creamy and the flavors are well balanced. And one thing that you shouldn’t skip is their spicy salted egg pasta. Girl, this is a game-changer. I only got to experience this at Candiez. Must have! Aside from pasta, you could also try their Pesto Porkchop. So tender and juicy. You’d surely love it.

And as for the sandwiches, my favorite would be their Tyrell’s Tuna Melt. It’s overloaded with cheese and it surely blends perfectly with the tuna on it. A feast of flavors in your mouth the moment you take a bite. As of now, I've been here countless times and I could still see myself going back once the pandemic is over. We also got to meet the owner, Miss Candy who was very kind and accommodating. If you’re in a good timing, you might bump into her in your visit. Hope this helps!...

Candiez has a variety of foods on their menu. From all day breakfast favorites to coffee and smoothies, they have the best. I highly recommend their Dragon Fruit smoothie and Alexis's Pesto Porkchop which are a must-try. It was my first time trying a Dragon FRUIT Smoothie with them and it's all worth it. From what I know, most of the items from their menu are homemade and prepared fresh. I must also say that the price range on their menu is very budget-friendly.
