Update, we are being attacked by staff or owner, not sure, because of our reviews. They are asking if the food was bad, why did we finish our meals. The answer, dear staff/owner, is because we were brought up right and to not leave food on the table. It's also so expensive that it would be a waste not only of our time but also our money to just leave the food on the table. Also, telling us the staff/onwer also mentioned that it we must be poor for us to complain, but when you think about it how'd we even get there without money?

TLDR: View is great but this the worst food I've eaten here in bukidnon and is the lowlight of my trip. Even worse than the very simple native food served at one of our stays. 100/10 would NOT recommend

I don't mind paying a lot for food but the food was so horrible that even the stray dog refused to eat the left over steak.

Staff was glued to the owner and is very hard to call. The prices were also not in line with the quality of the food.

I was full of energy when i arrived and was pleasantly surprised by the view. But the food was so bad that i left there drained.

Don't even think about getting the coffee because it was also horrible. It's priced 189 but with its quality it should be priced less than 100. Even then had I known I would not have ordered coffee.

I forgot to mention the entrance fee that is not posted anywhere nor mentioned by the staff. We only discovered the fee when we were presented the receipt.

The only thoughts I had when leaving was that ruined my day, its garbaj, and has the owner even tasted the food and drinks they serve.

For the other guests that went and left reviews, it left me a question if they were paid or if the food was not as horrible as it is now. Looking at other reviews here and...

the first time i visited cafe by the ridge was last January. When i visited the place again recently, there were so much improvements. The Christmas decor didn't hurt at all because it added to the aesthetics of the place. The place is instagrammable which is fun for me. While waiting for our order, my plantita mom went around to check their plants, she even excitedly told me that she saw a Christmas village inside. I love the fact that you can see how your food is prepared. You can watch the chef prepare the pizza in their glass-walled pizza kitchen. I'm impressed with the fact that they hire the locals for both food prep and service. Can do better with the latter, but they'll surely be able to do better when they do this more. I commend them because they are helping in providing work for the locals. This second visit made me more excited for our next one. Four thumbs up!!!! 5 sars* note: i recommend you visit the place at night. aside from experiencing the beautifully designed landscape and lights, you get to be...

We went here at lunch time after exploring the Dahilayan Adventure Park and Dahilayan Forest Park. Around 1.2km away from these parks. Upon arriving, it wasn’t clear where the crew/ staffs are so we did not know who to talk to since the place was full. They do not have proper people and table management. They didn’t know where to place us. No clear instructions. We asked one of the servers if we can transfer to another table that was just wrapping up and they said yes. Lo and behold, when we were about to go there, a group of people surrounded the table and the server said that the table was reserved for them which was confusing because we clearly asked her before. The server did not even give us an alternative on where to sit after doing this to us.

Waiting time was long. The food was served cold. Nothing spectacular with the taste They have a couple of meals on the menu but only 2 meals were available that time. I think the 200 entrance fee is not worth it. The only good part was the view but the place itself is...

If tired of the Dahilayan adventure experience, why not try a new Cafe/Resto area just few meters above the Kumakay River just over the Ridge over looking the surreal beauty of the mountains. Perfectly match with the sea of clouds creeping down on a rainy, cold afteenoon view. Perfect for coffee break or a team celebration away from the noise of the city. Location: just along the road few meters from Kumaykay river. Area/Place: mostly a newly renovated area. Parking spaces are small esp on weekends with rush of costumers. It has the main area where wines, and orders and the kitchen area are located. Then it has few individual cottages for you to choice from to stay. And mostly on reservation basis especially on rushhours. Then the comfort rooms and the gate entrance. Entrance is 200php consumable inside Services: they have a range of foods to choose from. Meals, snacks, a variety of pizzas, coffees and wines and beverages. The area is instagrammable although mostly are on going development especially the landscaping.

Visiting Cafe by the Ridge is enjoyed most when the sun is shining since tables are outdoors. We were lucky the weather was sunny and warm when we visited. A very secluded mountainous area, a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the view. There is a 200php entrance fee but 150php is consumable. If you're intention is to only look around, then I suggest you look at other tourist spots since there's limited views in this cafe. But if your intent to eat and dine, then I would say its worth it. We ordered Margherita pizza, ribs and chicken. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The staff were nice and accomodating. We were the only customers at that time and we were served promptly. They do need proper signages for the entrance and parking. Its just a hard to locate cafe unless you know the actual area. Okay for the locals but hard for tourists to locate if they don't have their own car.
