One of the best food stops at Manolo Fortich. Good serving and cheap foods

Detailed: This dish presents a simple yet inviting culinary composition. The neatly shaped white rice serves as a comforting staple, forming the visual and structural center of the plate. Surrounding it is a generous portion of tender meat bathed in rich brown gravy, which adds depth and savoriness. The meat appears succulent and well-cooked, likely slow-braised to achieve that tenderness, with the sauce lending warmth and umami to each bite.

A few slices of fresh cucumber and a piece of bright carrot punctuate the plate, offering a crisp contrast to the softness of the rice and meat. While their presence is minimal, they provide welcome color and a nod toward balance in an otherwise hearty presentation.

The wooden surface beneath the plate adds a rustic, home-style touch, evoking a sense of casual comfort. The overall plating is unpretentious and practical, clearly designed more for satisfaction than spectacle—yet it still manages to be visually appealing through its balance of color and composition.

This dish captures the essence of everyday Filipino meals: hearty, straightforward, and made to nourish. With just a bit more vegetable presence or garnish, it could elevate from modest comfort food to a fuller, more well-rounded...

They called it “roast beef” but it was submerged with mushroom-like sauce. I hope they could have separated the sauce and the roast beef so you can taste the smokey and natural beef flavor. The sauce overwhelms all of the meat. Their pansit was okay, nothing remarkable.

Place is open air, and very spacious. Good for a...
