This is a Chinese food restaurant. I bit pricey for their -silog meals
Detailed: This meal offers a hearty and vibrant presentation that blends comfort with flavor complexity. At the center is a mound of fluffy white rice, adorned with golden toasted bits for texture, acting as the anchor for an array of toppings. Nestled beside it is a generous portion of tender meat coated in a rich, glossy sauce—likely braised or stewed—punctuated by sautéed onions and red bell peppers that add both sweetness and color.
A runny fried egg, delicately garnished with green onions, crowns the plate with a creamy richness that promises to meld beautifully with both rice and meat. On the side, crisp slices of cucumber and tomato offer a refreshing palate cleanser, while a bowl of broth-based soup and a dish of chili sauce in the background elevate the meal’s balance. The soup suggests a subtle contrast to the boldness of the main dish, and the chili provides an optional hit of heat.
A glass of brown-hued drink, possibly iced tea or coffee, completes this picture of a well-rounded, satisfying dining experience. Overall, the meal reflects thoughtfulness in its assembly—highlighting harmony of taste, nutrition, and presentation that’s both inviting and satisfying. A quintessential Asian comfort...

Located along the expressway, Hap Chan at NLEX Petron is accessible only for travelers on the road. The restaurant has nearby parking slots, making it convenient for diners. While it is not pet-friendly, the guard on duty kindly offered to watch over our dog. There was even an instance when our dog got loose, and the guard quickly retrieved him—kudos to his effort and attentiveness!
We ordered four dishes, and although the menu states an approximate waiting time of 15 minutes, it took considerably longer. To our surprise, many customers who ordered around the same time as us or even after were served and finished their meals before ours.
Despite the delay, the food quality made up for the waiting time. The fried rice is a standout and highly recommended, paired perfectly with their sweet and sour chicken, which was also delicious. The other dishes we ordered were equally satisfying.
The restaurant’s acceptance of credit cards is a plus, adding convenience for customers.
In summary, while the service speed could use improvement, the flavorful dishes and accommodating staff make Hap Chan at NLEX Petron a worthwhile stop for those traveling...
Read moreHot sour soup is my Wife's favorite and she was the one who introduced this to me just recently. It's good! Other food that we like is the cold cuts platter, yang chow rice, sweet and sour pork, chicken feet. But honestly, most of their food was good. But recently, something changed. Like yang chow was short on saltiness, beef noodle soup is just a simple, plain-tasting mami... last night we ordered for beef with brocolli but forgot to serve it, so we just cancelled it. Chicken feet doesn't taste that good anymore. Service-wise, they will attend to you right away with your needs. But it was only last night when they forgot one of our orders. Atmosphere, since the place it small, it was noisy. Comfort room is clean. We were surprised with our bill though. But anyway, probably it's because of the high-priced ingredients plus...
